Ch0: Alpha

Chapter 0: prologue 

Reporter : "Another billionaire found dead at the public , Dr. Izaki Shikiha popularly known as 'the guardian of the poor' around the locality was found dead near the Noburu park yesterday night... Later it was discovered as to be a merciless murder done by a killer who just blindly cleaned the blood stains .. the police suspects that he did it on purpose.... now let's ask the people who were nearby the crime scene...."

Witness 1 : "I crossed 2 people walking in the same direction there yesterday and I'm sure one of them is Dr. Izaki but I was not able to see the other guy's face as he was walking in the dark..."

Witness 2 : " I heard a low screaming voice that time , i thought it was the group of drunk people who usually cross that street that time but I never thought it could be Dr. Izaki ..." (sobs)

Reporter : "And another witness claims that he confronted the killer after the murder happened but still can't see his face clearly"

Witness 3 : (excited voice) " YEAH it's ME.... I was working the night shift at the veterinary hospital nearby the park , then I heard some scream and took a peek outside and saw someone vigorously punching Izaki-san .... I called the police , took a dissection knife for self defence and when the time came , I rushed outside.. when he noticed me , he just gave a deadly stare at me , I couldn't see his face because the street lights were off ... He charged towards me and tried to attack me , somehow I dodged his attack and managed to stab his shoulder ... He didn't show the slightest pain by the stab instead he stared me again and I started staring back at him to show a little dominance..... I felt like looking straight into the eyes of a merciless monster.... By then I heard the sound of the police vehicles coming there , he heard it too.... He pushed me away with force and dropped the dissection knife on the ground , ran and escaped by the time police arrived , i couldn't remember anything after that as I was hit in head when I was pushed away...."

Reporter : "this witness seems to have a close encounter with the killer .. as investigated by the police the killer seemed to have a slender skinny body , springy hair and eyes wide opened ; these features seemed to be the same as the killer who already killed 6 rich people before..... Government to hire government and private detectives to track this killer before any other deaths to happen....."

"Who is this killer? Why is he targetting rich people? What is his motive? Will the government be able to catch him? All after a short commercial break..."

As the news been played on a television in a small scattered room , two goverment officials are looking forward for a reply a detective 

Gvnmt.Official 1: "you'll get big payment if you work with the goverment..... a cash reward you'll never get to see in your life time.... The government needs smart people like you, Mr.Katashi" 

( The gvnmt official 2 was nodding positive for everything official 1 says)

With a pale look on his face ,"The government wants me ? The goverment who betrayed me wants me to help it again? The government who fired me for no reason wants me to join allies ?" Said Katashi.

"Go tell your government that I , Katashi Kurayama will never be a part of it ever again"

"But sir-

" I'm not done talking yet... Though I'm not working with the government, I'll take on the case myself as an individual detective ... no more conversation, you both can leave " said Katashi

With their heads towards the floor the government officials left the place

Soon Katashi summoned his one and only assistant Makoto(who is a rookie) and informed him about taking in this case 

Meanwhile the government officials reported the word of Katashi to Head who already hired 3 detectives for the government at work 

"Interesting person,isn't he" said the Head with a anxious low voice 

"Not flattered for a lifetime cash reward , that guy must have gone mad on the incident which happened few years ago" 

"In this race I'll win and give you the taste of defeat, my old friend"

(With a low Sinister voice)

Meanwhile Katashi and Makoto started with the case.... As Makoto requested to investigate the witness who confronted the killer , Katashi proceeded to go with his plan 

Soon they left to the crime scene , the Noburu park and saw no one there , Makoto asked "Woah , this is one of the busiest crime scene I've ever seen in my life haha(sarcastically)" "now where is that veterinary hospital??" .... "There" replied Katashi with his finger pointing to a building storming by people .. they walked there and saw a bunch of press interviewing the witness , he looked like a average teenager , joyful and had a small cat on his shoulder... Makoto cleared the crowd there and they took the witness to their detective agency(Katashi's rental house) 

"What's your name ?" Asked Makoto with Katashi standing in a darker place at the corner behind him

"HI I'm Yukio and this is Mei .. say 'hi' Mei" 

"meowww...."

"Mei sure learnt how to greet someone don't you"

Katashi and Makoto was irritated by his behaviour and his take-it-easy personality

"How was the killer ?"

"I told that in the news ?"

"Ahhh then what exactly happened there?"

"I told that in the news too"

"How you exactly came to know that the incident was happening outside ?"

" I told that in the news too"

"Aaaarghhh !!! Mr.Katashi how are we ever gonna get the informa-

Katashi pointed his gun towards Yukio.

Yukio was scared and told the whole story again..

"This is what you said in the news too" said Katashi

"Yeah that's right" replied Yukio

"I don't want the same story you said the news , I want something else , something new , something you must've forgot"

"Excuse me, something new ? If you want something new then I should travel time and see what happe-

Katashi points his gun towards Yokio's forehead..

"I'm sorry I'm sorry sir, I don't remember clearly because of the hit but ,you know what ? I'm an artist I can draw you his face"

"Then proceed" said Katashi

"Ummm.. sir do you have any paper?" 

Katashi gave him his notebook

"Urghh the paper quality is awful I would rather draw on a tissue paper" said Yukio to himself

Katashi took away his notebook from Yukio and gave him a tissue 

"Now proceed with your art skill"

"What the hell give me back that paper "

"You said you'd rather draw on a tissue didn't you?"

"Waaahhh I was just being sarcastic , bro" (annoyed)

Katashi gave the notebook back

Yukio drew a stick figure with springy hair and said "behold the criminal"

Katashi and Makoto's face showed the hopelessness they felt at that time... This time Katashi pointed his gun ,not towards Yukio but towards Mei(yukio's cat) 

"Woah woah woah ... Don't you dare press the trigger" said Yukio fiercely

"Then draw it properly you idiot" (threatening deep voice)

Yukio started sketching again in hurry. This time he tried his best drawing a dark human-like figure with springy hair and wide opened eyes and said "this is the best how i remember him"

Knowing Yukio , as well as his drawings are helpless , Makoto turned on the TV...

Yukio was bored watching the news in the TV about the murderer

UNTIL he saw something in the screen , Yukio stumbled and shouted "h...he...he is the killer!!" (Terrified voice)

As Katashi and Makoto turned towards the TV...
