17 Bismuth Corporation

Alex then joined his friends on a death match. After getting some wins Alex bid his friends good bye saying he had some work to do unlike the previous year when his friends would mock him for lying to them afterall "what kind of 11 year old kid has so much work" they thought but later after Alex revealed his identity they quickly understood Alex was actually a genius prodigy.

Thankfully for Alex that didn't make them feel reserved but only added a sense of admiration and mystery towards Alex's image.

Alex's jet entered the space above a landing area and an alert popped up on the car's window screen asking whether to land. Alex touched the yes option and the jet immediately flew down landing swiftly.

Alex came out of the car. He looked at the sky it was already noon. He started walking towards the guard gate. The guards were curious as to why a kid was approaching them and stopped him. Alex told his name and the guard searched it in the appointments section on the data server and there it was Alex's name with a diamond star in front of it signifying a VIP.

The guards looked at each other and furrowed their brows but didn't hesitate to salute. While Alex walked in and as soon as he was half way across the lab Sebastian approached him with a few men, some wearing white lab coats and others in formal suits. Alex bowed to his Master respectfully and gave a smile towards the rest.

Sebastian was satisfied with Alex's behavior, In private Alex would most of the time call him an 'old man' but atleast Alex had some sense of mannerism not to call him that in public.

Sebastian then introduced every one present there to Alex. Alex then greeted them with a nod some of them just ignored his greeting but didn't go overboard. Alex could understand their frustration afterall these people who were stuck doing research below tier 3 meant their magic potential wasn't much and to add an insult to the injury a brat hardly 10 years old had published a patent in their field.

Some of them couldn't help but question their existence. Alex just shook his head smiling looking at their response and asked Sebastian to lead the way. Sebastian did so but on his way he released his aura making those who acted a bit off early sweat on there way.

Alex had speculated that Sebastian was a power house near level 60 as the aura he gave was slightly thicker than his mother but shallow than his father. He never asked Sebastian directly about this because it was considered a kind of taboo.

Also he believed that these power houses above level 50 and so were actually rare. He knew the only reason he could see them so abundantly was because he was in the capital of Beljaris which attracted and could only accommodate the top brass of the society. It was afterall survival of the fittest.

Alex followed Sebastian to a hall along with the assistant scientists where he met two middle aged people one with a white lab coat and the other with a corporate suit. They looked at him and immediately smiled. Alex greeted them formally with a shake hand. He had done his homework so he knew who was going to meet today Roy Bismuth from Bismuth Security Solutions and Jean Grey the head of tier 3 department for research under Bismuth Corporation.

Roy was the manager of the entire corporation so his presence at the meeting surprised the entourage which only made them realise that the boy half their size was not only a young genius but he was also the only son of General Matthew Lamarka. The people who previously acted a little disrespectful gulped on their saliva but Thankfully Alex wasn't that petty to create trouble for them.

Roy after greeting Sebastian started speaking with Alex,

"Young Master Alex I have wanted to meet you for a long time now. Finally I got the chance to not only meet you but also to work with you."

"Mr. Roy it is actually my honor to not only meet a Bismuth family member today but also to earn the chance to cooperate with the Bismuth Corporation at the same time" Alex replied in a calm fashion and similar tone. He was a smooth talker everyone commended him for his mannerisms it may be his neighbors, the employees of his mother's company or even the servants in his house but at the same time what he hated the most was also small talk and this acting that he had to do everytime just to keep appereances. He knew there were many changes in him and the past Alex.

His past was naïve, just engrossed in his own work and hateful because of his directness yet innocent but the Alex of today could said to be a double faced guy he was calm, serene and pleasant from outside but he knew he was a cold, ruthless and manipulative bastard from the inside. Alex after realizing his nature was a little concerned about it but as time passed by he actually came to like his personality very much. Ut was productive and created the least possible obstacles to achieve his goals. He saw everything as a 'no relations attached transaction' except for those close to him.

Roy was genuinely happy with Alex's polite response afterall Bismuth Corp was a giant yet it had treated Alex as an equal in this deal which was already showing their sincerity, all he hoped was that the brat understood this.
