11 CHAPTER 9: The use of keys
Akira was currently in the living room of the Makimura family, where they shared a meal. Miki's parents and younger brother were present, although Miki's seat is empty.
Akira enjoyed the warm atmosphere that surrounded the dining table, smiling more than he could.
But suddenly blood began to flow from the eyes, mouth, nose and ears of Miki's parents, and the little brother, now a demon, stared at Akira crying before saying, "Your fault."
Then the scenery changes, the living room goes to dust and Akira is now in a black void, alone.
Eyes begin to open all around him, each showing the vision of a human, a demon or a devilman dying in atrocious suffering, Akira even believed to see Rin and Yukio at one point, all saying before dying «your fault».
Water comes out of everywhere, and Akira, as much as he tries to swim on the surface, he just sinks.
Hands stretching from the bottom of the water begin to catch it, forcing it to dive deeper.
Finally Akira touches the bottom, and finds himself out of the water in a new environment, all around him is fog, and the ground is littered with puddles.
Little by little a silhouette comes close to him, initially it was only a black shadow, but this shadow ends up becoming a person.
She stood before him with a face empty of emotions, making her hand the shape of a gun, she approached him slowly to her temple.
"Your fault"
Said she, when his hand was at his goal.
Akira: "Miki..."
said he full of tears
Miki: "Bang"
Miki's head is exploding
Akira : "MIKI !!"
He reached out to the girl, but it was too late.

When Akira awoke, he took a few minutes to enjoy the comfortable mattress and warm blankets
Akira: "A nightmare... just a nightmare."
He rose immediately, under the cries of one of his protégés. He rushed into the other room while breaking down the door with a panicked kick.
Rin: "TAKE ME WITH-
Akira: "IS EVERYTHING OKAY?"
Poor Rin didn't have time to finish his sentence that a half-naked and frightened Akira landed in his room.
Yukio: "We are very well, why?"
Akira: "I heard screams"
Yukio could not help staring at his brother with a face that said «it's his fault» a finger pointed at him
Rin: "WHY ARE YOU POINTING AT ME, YOU DUMB-ASS?!!"
Akira: "I understand now... "
Rin: "WHAT DID YOU SAY, WINGED BASTARD ?!"
Yukio was going to take advantage of this distraction to leave, but....
Akira: "Where are you going?"
Yukio: "I have to go shopping because I'm missing some exorcism stuff."
Rin: "Yes, and I was asking him to take me, before YOU came."

Akira remained for a few moments in silence staring at his two protégés, before finally sighing.
Akira: "I'll go with you, wait for me, two minutes."
Akira set out again across the broken door on the ground, in front of the two brothers' poker faces
Rin: "WE DIDN'T NEED YOU WINGED BASTARD!"
Yukio: "I was supposed to do this mission alone."
Akira returned a few minutes later, this time dressed in the true cross academy uniform, then Yukio took a key from his pocket, which he put in another door in the back of the room, and opened it, bringing our three companions on a gigantic bridge.
Rin: "HUGE!"
Akira: "Not enough space for a fight, a no flying person could easily be surrounded and then killed."
the two brothers paid no attention to the ruminant Akira, too accustomed to his paranoid ramblings.
Even if Rin was still a little sad facing the teenager, remembering why and how Akira had become so distrustful.
After all, seeing his best friend destroy everything he loved one by one, was not what Rin secretly dreamed of at night.

Yukio lost more and more patience with the devilman, and decided to accelerate the pace. While Rin laughed slightly at what was going on, loving to see his younger brother upset.
