6 CHAPTER 6: Sad Reunion

- POV akira -

Akira: "THE PRIEST!"

I was rushing to Fujimoto

Fujimoto: "Stay away!"

He says in his teeth

Fujimoto: "Get away from me"

Then one by one, all the lamps exploded

Rin: "What's going on?!"

The priest laughs, then says with a voice that seemed to echo

Fujimoto possessed: "That's it... I finally got it… This body is mine!"

Rin runs to Fujimoto, while I stay behind, in battle position.

Fujimoto: "We finally meet my son!"

Then Fujimoto's body explodes with blue flames

Fujimoto/ Ryo: "HOW MOVING IT IS!"

Then he laughs maniacally.

Rin: "What's the matter with you?!"

Priest: "He is possessed! Satan dwells in him"

Akira: "Satan?! Ryo is there?!"

Fujimoto's possessed body stops laughing.

Fujimoto: "Ry… Ryo?! Who called me that?!"

Then he looks in my direction, he seems shocked

Fujimoto: "AKIRA?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!"

Rin looks at me with a scared face, I remain silent for a few seconds before changing the subject:

Akira: "Why? Why are you doing this Ryo?! Our world isn't enough for you?! You have to destroy another one?!"

Fujimoto: "SILENCE!"

My body and that of the priests began to burn in blue phlegm, while Fujimoto's eyes and nose bled.

Rin: "YOU GUYS!"

Fujimoto: "We'll talk later Akira, I only have a little time."

These blue flemmes… Where do they come from? I've never seen him use them before. They're painful. I don't feel well. I think I'm going to faint. No! I can't do that! Would I be weaker?! It seems that God did not give me back all my power before sending me here. Will I find it again? It is not the most important! Rin! I beg you! SURVIVE!

Fujimoto cuts his hand, and actually brings out some blood (AN: to tell the truth I don't know if he really removes the hand, in the animation we can only see him catch this one then there is a cut where we hear cracking noises, and finally we see blood flowing on the ground.)

Fujimoto: "My power is too great for Assiah…"

Blood runs down the floor

Fujimoto: "My containers never last long"

The blood forms a door. It is then addressed to Rin

Fujimoto: "This is the case for this man… It was also the case for your mother."

Smiling faces come out of the door

Rin: "What is that?"

Fujimoto: "The gate of Gehenna, a magical gate that connects Gehenna to Assiah."

He looks towards Rin

Fujimoto: "Go! ON THE WAY TO HELL!"

Rin: "don't come near me…"

Rin bursts into blue flames

Rin: "DON'T COME NEAT ME !"

Fujimoto laughs

Fujimoto: "WHAT WAS THAT?! YOUR FIRST WAVE?! Pathetic… Find me your demonic powers."

He takes Rin and plunges him into the gate of hell

Rin: "I AM NOT A DEMON! I AM A HUMAN!"

Fujimoto: "My blood, the blood of the god of Gehenna, flows inside you, but your body belongs to Assiah. That makes you an exceptional being!"

Rin gets made can to bury through the gate of hell, as if he were in a moving sand, while Fujimoto possessed, mocks his son's panic

Fujimoto: "ANOTHER WAVE! Today, you will be reborn as a demon."

Rin desperately calls for help to the priests and Akira, Akira seems to whisper something

Akira: "pl… please… sur… vive…"

Then he faints

Rin : "help me out!"

Fujimoto possessed: "Happy birthday SON!"

Then a voice comes out of Fujimoto's body, it seems that it is Fujimoto himself

Fujimoto:" No… You're not there."

Fujimoto takes his collar containing a spike, then shoves it into his chest,

Fujimoto (the real one): "This kid… is my son, and you're gonna give it back to me"

Fujimoto (possessed): "Miserable… EXORCIST DOG!"

The blue flames extinguish, and Fujimoto's body falls into the door

Fujimoto (possessed): "You end your life? Oh the wicked depraved priest… But it doesn't matter, because it's too late… The door of Gehenna holds you… And she will never let go of you again..."

Rin: "THE OLD MAN! DADDY WAKE UP! SHIT!"

Rin remembers an old memory

Rin child: "Say, Dad…"

Fujimoto: "Um?"

Rin child: "Why am I not like the others? Maybe I am really the child of the demon…"

Fujimoto: "Not at all. You're a human child."

Rin child: "Okay!"

Rin then took the kômaken,

Rin: "Father…"

Rin: "I haven't shown you anything yet! I forbid you to die!"

and in spite of the words of the priests who were against it, he opened it, blue flames come out of it, and Rin can gradually become more demonic than his own.

Then he throws a sword into the gate of hell, and destroys it.

He then closes the kômaken, then wept, looking at his father's body, dead.

Rin: "Dad…"

- POV Yukio Okumura -

Yukio was getting closer to the monastery because he was worried that the phone was not answering when he heard a big BOOM.

He was still far from the religious place, but in view of the great noise, he suspected that something was wrong, the closer he got, the more he could see a demon going in the same direction as him.

As an exorcist, he could not let them wander where they wanted, so at the same time as he ran to his house, he exorcised the demons that passed, which took him even longer.

When he finally arrived at his destination, he saw a truck stuck in the face of the monastery.

Yukio: "it's not good…"

He hurried back inside, and what he saw horrified;

The nave completely destroyed, the priests and a demon lying on the ground half conscious and burned in multiple places, his brother, half demonic, weeping on the ground holding the kômaken, but most important; his father's body, on the ground, lifeless.
