Desire Knows My Name Part 3

"What did you do outside?" Feng Mian apprehends Noe as he walks into the hospital. 

"Rudely shouted at an elderly couple," Noe responds, making his way to the waiting room. 

The first thing Noe sees when he looks to where Daniel had been seated is a white coat covering grey scrubs.

"Noe!" Daniel stands, looking over the back of the doctor's white coat. "She's awake."

"Where?" Noe rushes to him.

"Are you Vivian's son?" the doctor asks, her voice grave.

"I am."

"She wishes to speak to you," the doctor responds. "This way, please."

Noe's heart squeezes, squirting out blood as if in a sneeze. Daniel grabs Noe's hand to ease his aggrievement. 

The doctor leads them deep into the hospital. Opening the door to the furthermost wing, she gestures for the men to enter. An assortment of machines is injected into Vivian. They form an array of white technology with Vivian at its heart.
