20 Just.....A..Aura?
Richard waved his hand and the white jade crystal box opened slowly.
Inside the box there laid a beautiful purple tinged flower. If you observed carefully, you can find that there are mystical patterns on the petals, but most will neglect this extraordinary flower and think of it as an uncommon purple colored flower. It camouflage itself by wrapping around a undetectable thin illusion cover.
Pseudo Unreal Flower is a special type of flower that are only found in misty or foggy regions. Nearby monsters if found any, have illusion properties or strong mind attack capabilities.

Merlin was stumped because he didn't knew about this, so he hesitantly answered.
"I haven't heard anything similar, but according to the reputation of Sky Imperium Palace they wouldn't lie about something like this."
Lucas quieted down and lowered his head.
Merlin turned towards Ivan and signaled with eyes.
Ivan just slightly shook his head indicating that he didn't knew anything related this.

Lily widened her eyes and was stunned, Ray stood stiff as a broken tree. Lily moved her eyes towards Old man Ley and asked with a cute voice, "Is that true that Pseudo Unreal Flower is that rare."
Old man Ley continued to sit calmly and with a leisure attitude.
He heaved a tired sigh and said, "it truly happened
once."
"If it's such a rare flower, why are you selling it? Let's take it back?"
Lily instantly stood up and rolled her invisible sleeves.
Old man Ley shook his head and gave a helpless smile. "It's true that Pseudo Unreal Flower was once scarce in quantity, it wasn't because the material wasn't available, it was because some important member from our Sky Imperium Palace needed a huge number of these flowers and so subsequently for about 10 years no Pseudo Unreal Flower was auctioned. Ray looked towards Richard and asked in a low voice, "Does that mean that old man is cheating everyone there?"
Ley lowered his head and said with a wizened face, "You can't say that, whatever he said is unmistakably the truth. It's just that those little juniors don't know the full story."
Ray's hand trembled, he turned towards Lily who's eyes were sparkling, she was looking at old Richard with worshiping eyes.
Ray wanted to say something but at the final moment held back.
Raising his head Old Ley smiled at Ray and Lily and spoke, "But poor Richard, today he is really unlucky. He doesn't have the full picture yet."
Smiling slyly he gazed at Richard, "Well who told you to dump all the work on me and play around. It's all your fault being late."

Richard shuddered and looked towards a particular VIP room. He felt a deep sense of foreboding, collecting his thoughts Richard turned towards the guests "Now let's start the bidding, the base price is 50,000 low-grade mana crystals or 500 mid-grade mana crystals.
Not giving much time for the crowd, Richard started the bidding. He was afraid that like last time someone who know the true stories will open his secret and reveal it to everyone.
"51,000 mana crystals"
"Step back you poor ghost, I bid 60,000 mana crystals."
"60,500 mana crystals."
Lucas listened to the sounds and used system to try to identify who was speaking. But all of the bidders were unknown to Lucas and some even had magically altered their voice.
"Aren't you two bidding?" Lucas curiously asked. From the start Merlin and Ivan only tried for a few items, and bought even fewer.
"We aren't here to buy."
"We are here as a support and mainly to see off some friends." Merlin with a smile as gentle as spring responded.
Lucas felt eerie seeing Merlin's smile.
"72,500 mana crystals."
"800 mid-grade mana crystals from the Longinus"
Immediately a deafening voice sounded in the auction hall.
"850 mid-grade mana crystals from the Creed"
Following Longinus Clan, Creed Family entered the bidding. The VIP's have started.
"Oh you guys from Creed are really loaded. Let me contribute 900 mid-grade mana crystals from the Jainus"
"Pseudo Unreal Flower is going to be ours the Cree-"

Interrupting the bidder from the Creed Family a booming overwhelming force echoed in bright golden hall.
Everyone including Lucas felt the voice strike his soul. He felt the whole space seem to be crying and submitting. The golden chandelier seemed like sun and was shinning brilliantly like it will burn the whole world.
The only people in the Sky Imperium Palace that was not affected was the elder from Arsln Family, Old man Ley and Richard.
Among them only Richard was surprised at the presence of a Maxim Level bidder.
Richard with a darkened face waved his hand.
Instantly the pressure was gone as it was never there. Many people trembled due to the effect still lingering.
Lucas was soaked completely with cold sweat. He couldn't move his fingers anymore he was completely drained. Lucas was using [Scan] at the moment and he experienced the monstrous pressure more thoroughly. He felt like he will be crushed like an ant without any resistance. Lucas was on the verge of losing consciousness.
After a while, Lucas felt a warm pure energy coming from his forehead, opening his eyes he was welcomed with a white slender palm resting on his forehead.
Ivan was putting some of his mana to Lucas and rejuvenating him. Lucas moved his eyes to Ivan who was nodding at him with a surprise look.
Merlin wiped his sweat away from his forehead, with a tired face he said.
"It seems like you have been peaking your senses, it's admirable that you haven't lost consciousness."
"W..What..was…t..that?"
Lucas adjusted his seating position and tried to regain his control of the body.
"Maxim, it was an aura from Maxim Level" it was Ivan who was answered, there was a undisguised longing feeling in the voice.
"Aura..just aura?" Lucas with a disbelieving face asked.
"Yes, just aura. Did you think it was an attack?"
Merlin gently shook his head and looked towards the VIP room where the voice came from.
"Maxim Level is a whole different level, a high leap in Life Level. You haven't felt anything from your grandfather was because, he was restricting. And against direct bloodline, the effect of aura is relatively weaker."
Merlin's eyes held complicated emotions that Lucas couldn't recognize.
"Cough, cough, so the VIP room 707 have called out 1 high-grade mana crystal, anymore bids."
Even though Richard looked everywhere with a expecting gaze, he was met with disappointment.
Longinus, Creed and Jainus clans have Maxim Level elders, but now no one was near them. It was not wise to fight over Maxim for a herb like Pseudo Unreal Flower. Even if won in auction there is no guarantee that they will reach their home safely. Maxim Level person are either a great genius or extreme lucky or a lunatic fellow. You can't measure a Maxim Level with your regular common sense.
Richard gave a resigned look.
'Really unlucky, I made a great loss.'
"Then now let me congratulate our VIP room 707 for winning the top item of auction."
Merlin patted Lucas and said, "Let's go I will introduce you to others, most of these people can't be seen in ordinary circumstances. It's good chance to get to know them, in future these connections may be useful to you."
