4 Your Wish Is My Command

"Can you believe the news?" Nell greeted the next morning.

They agreed to walk together to school which made Ailish wake up earlier than usual since Nell's the type to have a quick early morning run to school.

"How can I believe something that I don't know?" Ailish asks as she hops beside Nell.

She's not the runner type but she loves hopping around. Even though her likes and Nell's hobbies are quite different, they both try to fit-in in each other's context to avoid making the other feel alone.

Nells raised his brow at Ailish with a confused and full of disbelief look, "What? You don't know? Didn't you see Kali's post in his social media account?"

Ailish shakes her head, she was busy searching for things related to the prophecy they heard last night. Even though Nell already told her that there's nothing on the internet, she still tried her luck but failed.

"Well, he was with their new block mate, and this guy let them have a party in his mansion- HIS MANSION!" Nell stopped running and took a deep breath, "The guy who called you a sinner was the millionaire guy! He owns a damn mansion, Ailish. Can you believe a college guy can have his own house or even a mansion?"

Ailish slowly nods her head in agreement with Nell, but what concerns her more was his issue over people around their age having a successful life when they're both still stuck in a classroom, listening to old professors life story instead of the main lesson.

"Okay... so, what?" Ailish rolled her eyes and walked past Nell, "Why do you care about the rude judgemental guy, Nell?"

"Because he's rich, Ailish. He has everything we don't have. And Kali said that he'll help anyone in any way they want and all we have to do is make friends with him."

"How can you say that?"

"'Cause Kali's traveling to Greece next week for FREE! The guy's paying for Kali and his girlfriend's expenses."

Nell's voice was beginning to sound exactly what he's thinking. Ailish stopped and took a deep breath, "If you want to make friends with that guy, go ahead. I don't care." She sighed and shook her head, "I don't like the guy. But whatever you want to do, I won't stand in your way."

Nell smiled at her and was about to say something when the hallway started to get noisy and his eyes landed on something that made him leave Alish behind.

"Nell?" Ailish turned around to see what was happening and groaned the moment her eyes met Sei's eyes.

Nell run towards him and introduced himself. He and Sei were having a good conversation which pissed Ailish off. Aside from the fact that she dislikes the new guy, Nell's being too friendly which is uncommon. He's not a sociable type and usually, he hates the people Ailish hates.

But a thought struck her mind, making her go on her own as she ponders about the ridiculous thought. 'What if the devil's not even scary like how they draw him in movies and books? I think humans would likely to turn away from frightening things which will make the devil's work- of making them sin- difficult.

She curls her lips as she nods in agreement with her ideas and sits down. 'But if he was attractive, appealing, and... whatever it takes to make humans cross the boundary of goodness, it'll be much easier to lure them to his lair, hell'

Before she notices, the class' over and Nell left already without leaving her a note. She decided to go to their library and do her usual thing, read bizarre books.

Since she's been thinking 'unholy' thoughts, she went to the religious books aisle and scroll through the old and dusty books on the shelf. Her fingertips touch them one by one and when she just felt that she wanted to open a certain book she touched, she withdraws them from the shelf and reads them.

After passing some several pages, a word caught her attention, "The Prophecy of the End," she read softly. A tingling sensation wrapped around her abdomen that made it way to her heart. She hurriedly went to take a seat to read more about this interesting topic.

She took note of the dates and other information that can be related to the prophecy until she turned to the page of a picture of odd stone with words she does not understand but the caption was exactly what Nathan said the prophecy is about.

"So it's true... It exist." She was about to turn the next page when she noticed the time, she still has the next class.

She stands up and carried the book and borrowed it. Even though it's thick and large, she wanted to read it tonight. For whatever reason, this prophecy sparked something inside her. As if her hunger for adventure's being fed by this weird divination.

Nell's been distant since this morning, he's pre-occupied by Sei's wish-granting ability. He's sticking with him along with other students which is very uncanny. The students in their university do not usually get attracted to famous and rich people but the arrogant guy's existence interested almost everyone.

Ailish watches everyone gather around Sei as they get out of the campus, walking towards the parking area. She stopped for a while to observe and everyone was dumbfounded when they saw him getting in his Lamborghini.

"What the ef?" Ailish cursed under her breath. "He's weird, arrogant, and flashy." She clicked her tongue as she shakes her head in disbelief and went on her way.

She walks to her house slowly as she reads the book but a honk jolted her and almost made her throw the old heavy book. She clasped onto it and took a deep breath.

Her head tilted slowly to the road and saw the same car Sei drives. She squinted her eyes to see who's inside but Sei went out and smirked at Ailish.

"Hey, want me to drive you?" He asks in a sassy tone.

Ailish blankly stares at him and looked at the house to the right. It looks old and was not taken good care of but it looks beautiful, "No, that's my house." She raised her brow at him and rolled her eyes, "Can you stop being so... weird?"

Sei frowned, "What? Weird? And... that's your house?"He smiled with a tint of mocking, "Do you want something more than that?" He asked which pissed Ailish.

"F*ck you," she said and turned around to walk away from him.

"Hey!" Sei called and drove his car slowly to follow Ailish, "I wanted to help you, why are you being rude?"

Ailish didn't give him attention and entered her house. Sei just stopped in front and watched her enter her house.

She's the only one who's ignoring him in the university which tickled his curiosity. Who can resist the devil aside from those religious people which Ailish probably isn't?

He taps on the wheels and smirked, no one resists riches and powers. If she doesn't want a mansion, she probably needs money. He nods his head and went back to his mansion where most students are committing sins now.

Ailish relaxed herself the moment she closed the door. How did that guy know where she was? He's not from their street and never saw him pass by this place.

"What the hell?" She whispered and ran to check if he's still there but the road's empty.

She's been frantic since the accident which killed her mother. They were both kidnapped but the only one that got out alive was her. Since then, her father dug his grave in his work and rarely comes home. She always got wary of cars and suspicious people like Sei.

Ailish went to her room and read the book. She got nothing much about the prophecy but there are other topics that are weird enough to feed her hunger for bizarre things.

She slept with the book beside her while Nell's reciting weird words before Sei along with other students in the darkroom in the lowest ground in the mansion with candles placed on the floor in a circular manner.

"Now, you will do whatever I asked you to, go and enjoy my token of friendship," Sei said in a loud voice, "Nell," he called, "About Ailish..."

"Don't worry, Sei, I know she'll like you. I'll tell her about it tomorrow," Nell said with a wide smile on his face while holding a ticket to Spain where Ailish's father works. It was Nell's wish- to help Ailish meet her father again.

"I'm looking forward to her gratitude tomorrow, Nell. Goodbye," Sei smiled at Nell before disappearing in the dark.

It made him feel ridiculous, to receive petty wishes from students as simple as traveling and passing their course but those who wish for things that require much larger sin, he asks for payment more than friendship.

Sei entered a dark cold room where a student's held down by chains, "How's the taste of hell?" he asks.

The student laughed maniacally even though he's seen demons and tasted the way of torture in hell, "It's nothing! Just kill the damn man!" he replied with tears and sweat streaming down his face.

"Oh, alright. Your wish..." Sei's serene face devilishly smiled, "Is my command."
