"Huh?" He looked at her as if he heard something incorrect because his mind couldn't process the words that came out of nowhere. 

She turned around towards him completely and stepped near so that she was now face to face with him. "I said I am mad at you because you forgot all about me, Xavier. You forgot about your Belle." 

He just stood there perplexed gazing at the woman whose emerald eyes were appearing lighter under the moonlight. His eyes lingered over her plump lips longer than intended and expected as well. He did feel he had seen her before somewhere every time he saw her face but what she was saying was a little too much for him. 

"Shared a love?" He whispered.
