8 Yulie's humiliation (2)

The witch raised her eyebrows as she looked at Yulie and retorted.

"Do you think you are in a position to question me?"

As soon as Yulie heard the witch retorting to her question, her face changed from normal to deep red due to embarrassment. She was enraged and wanted to retort back but once she tried to open her mouth and say something, nothing came out of her mouth. Indeed the witch was right. What right and on behalf of which authority did she question her?

Gritting her teeth in anger she turned her head into a different direction and tried to calm her nerves. However, she was unable to. Recalling that today is no moon night, her face turned pale. There was not even one percent chance for them to catch or abduct even one Asuras. On top of that, she could not even convince the Lord Mythen for trying this trap on some other day by bringing Sylia back. Once she was thrown into that portal, who had the courage to go there? Nobody had.

Clenching her jaws, she looked ahead to have a clear view, but all that could be seen was a pitch darkness.

The fire around Sylia was already extinguished a long time ago when the sky had started to turn dark. Due to the cold temperature and the cold wind blowing over, it had extinguished the fire set up by the Bennett witch. Later, no matter how much she tried to reignite it, she could not. After all, once the dark night came over, her powers had weakened as compared to the spiritual and the other powers coming from the other world of Asuras.

Yulie did not moved from her position for a long time as she kept on trying to find ways to check whether Sylia was still there or not. No matter how much she tried, she was unable to.

Unable to withstand anymore, she turned back along with other Serpent Soldiers, back to the villa.

As soon as Mythen heard what happened, angrily he tossed everything which was in front of him.

"How can you all make such a sinful and small mistake?"

Mythen was so angered that his whole body started to turn into his serpent form. With his tail elongating, his legs disappeared while his face started to change as well. His eyes turned golden while a golden pleat skiing started to appear on his face. His normal arms and fingers also started to change as well, and soon turned into long finger tips with long nails. A long hissing voice escaped from his lips and soon his lips turned from red color to black.

He aggressively and fiercely swung his tail and encircled it around the Serpent Fortune teller in front of him. For a long time, since the last time the Serpents had a war with the Asuras and they were defeated on the no moon night, the serpents finally took a fortune teller under them.

The fortune teller felt his breath was being taken away as his face started to turn white. Blood rushed down through his body and the lack of blood oxygen in his brain led to the ultimate death.

As soon as his rage dried down after killing the person who had the major role in this mistake, he took a deep breath.

Yulie was so frightened on seeing the fate of the serpent fortune teller, that she could not help but tremble in fright.

"Yulie, any information regarding Sylia?"

Even though Mythen had a lot of serpent women buzzing around him like flies, but still he felt that it was a loss that they let go of Sylia from their hands.

Yulie was flustered when she heard that name, however she controlled herself and took up a guilty front on her face as she responded while shaking her head.

"No, Lord… I… I know we should have made preparations for such mistakes… I… I understand it was my fault as well…"

Her sobbing sounds sounded in between her words while she spoke up. Mythen did not find anything wrong in her behaviour since she has already acted in a docile manner in front of him. He raised his brows as he swung his tail and encircled it around Yulie's waist as he pulled her towards him.

With his long finger, he traced face starting from her nose to her lips then to her jaw line before he took his finger to the lower side and traced her collar bone before whispering in a low voice.

"You indeed made a mistake and for that you do deserve a punishment."

As soon as these words left Mythen's mouth, on hearing, Yulie's face turned pale. She felt a chill running down her spine while he continued to trace her body using his finger.

The other servants quickly came and cleaned up the messed up and blood filled room and left, leaving Mythen and Yulie behind.

When Yulie saw that everybody had left, she felt more scared. She thought about her next step to please Mythen, however it seemed that she did not have to. Just as she was about to say something, the Lord of Serpents, Mythen spoke up.

"For that you need to please me tonight. Only then I can consider your apology."

As soon as Yulie heard that, she sighed inwardly and smiled sheepishly before lowering her body and kneeling down in front of him. With her head lowered, she removed the jewelries on his waist as well as the one around his ankle before she started with her mission of pleasing the serpent Lord in order to get free from the death punishment.

While on the other side at the portal space, Sylia stirred slightly when she felt a cold shiver due to the dropped temperature. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around, however nothing came into her sight, since there was all a pitch darkness around her and nothing else. She sniffled and tried to move her body but soon a strong pain hit her and she fell unconscious again.
