9 Unfamiliar feeling

On the pitch dark on the no moon night, Yama had to first go on the last shore of his kingdom to offer the prayers to the water deity. Though the Asuras worshipped and followed dark spirits but during no moon night, the water deities were worshipped along with offering souls.

Without any soldier or minister following him, Asura moved towards the portal space to take a look at the protective shield. Today was the night when the shield could be strengthened again which was ruptured due to the constant spell attack from the witches of Serpent.

He raised his both the hands in the air and closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath he started speaking in an unknown language. His eyes suddenly turned red while his claws suddenly pointed out and his teeth started to grow outwards. He let out a deep grunt as he started mumbling something. Not after too long, a golden stone started to surface on the ground. The light eliminating from the stone was so strong that it could almost make anybody blind.

Sylia who was unconscious for the whole time suddenly stirred up, however her body was too weak that she could not even open her eyes, her eyelids were too heavy. Still, when she heard that heavy voice, out of fear she could not help but try her best to open her eyes. The moment she opened her eyes, seeing the dark pitch night, she fell unconscious again.

Yama had almost utilised his tonight's power in doubling the strength of the shield while all of a sudden he opened the portal of space from his world. As soon as the small loop was opened, he leaned forward and grabbed both the sides of the small loop and stretched it to elongate without using much power.

As soon as he looked out of the portal, he frowned. Looking at the girl lying unconscious on the ground with a spell circle surrounding her he could not help but halt in his movements. He looked around and made sure that no one was here.

'Who is she?'

Looking at the petite figure whose back was facing him, he could not help but think.

He picked up a stick and threw it into the circle, when he saw that there was no spell that affected the stick, he sighed in relief. He was sure that there must not be any witch around.

Slowly he took his one leg out. However, as soon as the cold wind came in contact with his leg, he immediately knitted his brows into a knot. The temperature was too cold yet that girl seemed to be not wearing anything else except for a white thin cloth. He mumbled something and soon the cold wind did not had any effect on his body.

With light steps he walked ahead and bent on his to look at the girl who was lying unconscious.

Even though the serpents were always secretive but Yama was aware that this girl came from the Serpent clan. A cold light instantly flashed in his eyes when he looked at the girl. However, a sudden thought struck his brain. How far he remembered, it was a kind of spreaded topic about the beauty of a sudden girl from the serpent clan, and looking at her beautiful face he could tell that she was the same girl.

Yama tilted his face and stared at the girl. His eyes soon fell on her slender body and lust soon gathered up in his eyes. He could not help but smirk.

'Are those people fool?'

He pondered for a brief moment of second when he suddenly recalled the cold wind. He was instantly alerted as he thought about this girl lying here in this cold wind.

He extended his hand and touched her exposed arm, as soon as he touched her, a crease appeared on his forehead. Her whole body had turned cold. He quickly turned the girl towards him and could not help but curse inwardly. Earlier he did not take a proper look, but as soon as he looked at her face he noticed that due to the extreme cold her lips had turned blue. But what surprised him was the injuries on her face as well as on her whole body. Her lips had a slight cut, her cheeks had cuts. Even there was a deep cut just above her eyes as well. It looked that somebody had intentionally tried to ruin her beauty and beautiful face.

Even though he was the cruelest and vile creature, but somehow looking at the girl in front of him, as earlier he did not feel the void emotions inside him. In fact there was another kind of feeling, it was very unfamiliar to him, somehow he felt pity as well as he could not help but curse the serpents from the other world.

'How could someone be so heartless?' As soon as this thought came into his mind, he could not help but frown. Since when did he started to have these kinds of thoughts?

Without thinking much, he pressed his lips and leaned forward to look at the girl carefully before picking her up in his arms and turned to move back to his portal opening. Before entering he turned back to look at around and then instantly his eyes landed on the circle.

He took a deep breath before blowing out a strong gust of wind to remove that circle. In the next second, he turned and entered the portal opening towards his world. As soon as he entered inside, the portal opening closed.
