17 Mad one

"Yama…" The minister finally gathered up his courage and tried to stop the Yama. He himself could clearly see the mistiness in the princess's eyes, then why can't Yama? He could not help but wonder to himself.

"Are you leaving me or not?" Sylia hissed in anger as she eyed the devil in front of her. The pain was so much hurting her that she could barely speak a word. However, no matter how much she was being hurt, she did not let it surface on her face.

"Now you have the audacity to speak to me?" The Yama tightened his hands and the grip on her arms a bit more as he glared at her. Sylia on the other hand, did not even lower her eyes for even a split of seconds. She maintained her composure as she eyed the yama with equal frostiness in her eyes as well just as he had in his eyes.

"What do you think of yourself?" When she could not stand the pain on her arms anymore she finally shouted as she glared at him.

The Yama was shocked when he was yelled at first. He could not believe that this girl apart from making him furious has the potential to shout on him as well. He was shocked at first and did not realise when he released the grip on her arms. He started laughing out loudly as he placed his both the hands on his waist and stared at her face which had a frown on her face. Sylia's crease on the forehead deepened when she heard him laughing like a mad person. Or more specifically whether she looked like a joke to him?

Among the trio the person who was most scared and anxious was the monster. He was aware about his master losing his temper easily and that too how badly he would react. And just a few moments ago he heard about the consequences of Sylia's provocation.

"Do you think you are too brave to shout at me? Do you know who I am?" The Yama crossed his arms in front of his chest as he squinted his eyes and stared at her while questioning. However, after being held so tightly, Sylia's hands were still hurting, but she was currently furious as well.

She took a deep breath and spoke in a rather calm tone.

"Whoever you are, I don't care. But, I am sure about one thing regarding you." She crossed her hands in front as well in an imposing manner as she lifted her chin up.

The Yama sneered slightly but he was himself a little bit curious to know about the 'one sure thing' she was speaking of regarding him. He could not help but ask her about it after a moment of brief silence between them.

"What is it then? Do tell me."

Sylia let out a small laughter when her eyes turned cold and as well as the expressions on her face as she said in a cold tone which not only surprised her but Yama and the minister as well.

"You are no gentleman." Once these words left Sylia's mouth, she was surprised that never ever in her life had she used such a cold tone while speaking to anybody. Yet today she did. But this could only be considered the fault of this person standing in front of her. With this thought Sylia consoled herself as she continued to stare at the person with a meaningful gaze.

After a brief silence of a few minutes, the yama again started laughing as if he had just heard a joke right now. Sylia did not care anymore as she just waved her hand off and walked inside after speaking.

"You can continue to laugh like a mad one. I will go and take a nap."

Before the Yama could react she had already stepped inside and ;aid down on the bed. However, the person standing outside who was just laughing a few moments before, his face was dark like the bottom of a burnt black pit. He could not help but murmur while taking deep breaths in anger,

"Did she just call me mad? Did she?" He could not help but look at his minister who was standing beside him or more precisely who had curled himself into a ball while facing the wrath on the Yama's face.
