14 Alliance

The room was silent for a long time. However, often sipping sounds could be heard. Mother Queen placed her glass on the table as she could not help but think quietly. She had to look out for a way to find where did Sylia went, or even if she was abducted then who had done that? Her powers were something that were supposed to be benefit only the Serpent clan and no other. This was what Mother Queen thought of and wished for.

After all, who won't want ultimate powers to be under their hands?

"This won't do. Mythen, you need to find a way to bring her back."

Mythen looked at his mother and nodded his head seriously. His mother was absolutely right, the powers which Sylia had would increase his as well as Serpent's power so that every other clan and sects would fear them. All of a sudden a crease appeared on Mother Queen's forehead and she looked at her son before she said to him.

"I don't understand one thing."

Mythen who was in a deep thought when he heard his mother speaking. He lifted his head to look at her and raised his brows as he asked.

"What is it mother?"

"Why did you sent her? I don't understand that why will you take up this decision, Mythen. You are never the one who will act recklessly without proper thinking and planning." She paused and took a deep breath before adding.

"Yet, this time… neither did you planned it nor your decision was able to convince me."

As soon as Mother Queen finished speaking she stood up and picked the hem of her skirt as she lifted it slightly before moving out. She was truly disappointed in her son's decision. However, inwardly she somehow felt an intuition that this was not something to do with her son and somehow she felt that the purple skinned lady- that Yulie, who was always find ways to torture Sylia, must be finding a way to remove that girl.

A cold light flashed across Mother Queen's eyes as she lifted her chin and walked furiously. If Sylia would have been already alliance into the Serpent's, this all would not have happened. On the day when she went to talk to her son, this Yulie was with Mythen occupying his bed and mind.

From front, Yulie was coming. From her face, it was apparent that she must be finding a way to go and talk to Mythen. Mother Queen could not help but sneer when she looked at that purple skinned girl. Coldness was apparent on her face as she glared at Yulie who in fewar lowered her head and did not dare to even take a glance at Mother Queen.

Before both the ladies could cross their paths, Mother Queen stopped a few steps back before they could cross. Yulie, subconsciously also slowed down her pace of walking as she stood a few steps back before the Mother Queen.

Bowing her head down, Yulie asked.

"Mother Queen, do you have any orders for me?"

Mother Queen snorted and let out a mocking laugh before she said in a sarcastic tone.

"I wonder even if you will follow one. You don't even follow the protocols, how are you supposed to follow the orders."

Mother Queen's eyes were practically shooting daggers at Yulie as she glared at the purple skinned lady.

Yulie was confused when she heard Mother Queen. She could not comprehend that what might have made the Mother Queen to be so angry on her. Gathering up her courage she spoke.

"Mother Queen… I… don't understand what… what you want to say." Maybe out of fear or lack of courage, each word that came out of Yulie's mouth, she was stuttering while speaking up.

Mother Queen's rage heightened when she heard Yulie. She could not help but widen her eyes as she said in an anger laced voice.

"Don't understand? I am sure you won't. I am hundred percent sure that you must have been behind the order to let Sylia be tricked and been treated as a prey."

Once these words left Mother Queen's mouth, Yulie's eyes opened wide in shock. She could not believe that she had been exposed whiteley and crystal clear in front. Even all those maids and servants who were passing by, clearly heard Mother Queen. Even though they did not dared to face the queen straight away face to face, but everybody could clearly hear the anger in her voice.

Every one was fully aware how Sylia was treated by this purple skinned lady- Yulie. Even nobody liked Yulie, everybody liked Sylia for being the most caring person who took care of everyone despite of their work, she never looked down on anybody. No matter how harshly the person would treat her from front, but she, she never spoke to anybody in a high pitched tone. She had always been a person to stay low profile with grounded morals.

Yulie's eyes flickered as she took a deep breath and said.

"No… no, Mother Queen…"

However, before she could even finish speaking or explaining herself, Mother Queen had already interrupted her while speaking as the latter raised her hand to stop Yulie.

"I don't want to hear any single word coming out of your mouth. The power Sylia held in her hands was enough for the Serpent clan to rise up on another level, yet, now…" Mother Queen shook her head as she walked ahead leaving Yulie standing still and frozen on her spot as she digested Mother Queen's words.

'Powers? Again those Powers?' A tinge of jealousy flashed in her eyes as she clenched her fingers into a tight fist. Why was it that Sylia always received the longer end of the stick, while she… Yulie could not believe that her fate would be so bad that her existence could not be even compared to an adopted person who neither belonged to the Serpents nor into the family who had adopted her.
