18 A special spell

The minister could not help but tremble in fear. He looked at Yama and said in a stuttering voice.

"Master... I... think we should not provoke the princess."

Once the minister finished speaking the Yama turned to look at his subordinate in confusion. Who is the princess here? He could not help but wonder.

After a moment of long silence, the Yama asked.

"Should I bring somebody to check up on your mental health?" The Yama's tone was cold and as scary as usual. His eyes were glinting with a murderous gaze as he looked at his subordinate.

The minister pressed his lips together and shook his head as he spoke.

"Master... Princess Sylia... The Bennett witches said she is..."

"Princess?" The Yama's anger has all of a sudden dissipated as he was equally shocked and surprised with the revelation of sudden news.

The minister slowly nodded his head as he straightened his back a little bit. While he was curled up in fear, his back had already started to pain. And how much his old age could handle? The minister could not help but frown.

"Yes master... It seems that the reason why she doesn't remember anything is because of the fact that The Original Witches performed a special spell on her which made her to forget everything."

The Yama had mostly guessed the same thing so he was not that much surprised on knowing about it. So, he slightly nodded his head while placing a finger under his chin.

The minister thought it as a moment of revealing everything that he had gathered about Princess Sylia. So without any further delay he started informing the Yama about every small piece of information that he received from the Bennett Witches.

"Master, she cannot be provoked." When the yama heard about the consequences of provoking that little girl who was currently sleeping on his bed and too in his own room after kicking him out, he indeed found it quite hard to believe but he had to. Who knows what she will do once provoked?

The Yama did not show any reaction to the minister's words but from inside he was not feeling good. A proud person like him who always placed himself on top of everybody, how could he digest that there was somebody more powerful on this earth existing? In his life span of twenty-eight years, he never came across anybody who could actually defeat him apart from the divines who only attacked when an attack was initiated on them. So it was quite difficult to believe and accept the fact that the girl who had just kicked him out of his own room was much more powerful than him.

But his gaze instantly turned murderous on thinking about the plot the Serpent's were laying down. For trapping the Asuras, they dared to use this girl. But he could not understand one thing. If they were already aware about her powers then how come they were not afraid of her. Her powers were enough to swipe the every living creature on the planet, let alone the Serpent's who were nothing but just ants.

"It is confirmed that the Serpent's are behind this, isn't it?" He gazed at a distant and asked his subordinate. The minister in reply nodded his head and said in a low voice.

"Yes master."

"Very well." His lips lifted into a devilish smirk from the corner. He was about to turn back and go inside when he stopped abruptly and asked.

"Any updates regarding her memories? Can these witches perform any spell to undo the effects of earlier ones?"

The minister was stunned at first on being asked all of a sudden but soon he turned back to his senses and nodded his head quickly as he answered.

"Yes master. They can do that but…" He rubbed his chin and stopped in the middle.

A crease appeared on Yama's forehead when he saw his subordinate hesitating while informing him about something. He straightened his back and said in a demanding yet cold voice.

"Speak."

On hearing the cold and demanding tone, the minister nodded his head vigorously as he said in a stuttering voice.

"Master, they said it might take a little bit of time."

"No matter what it takes." After saying this one final sentence, he walked inside. He had to deal with Sylia as well. After all, how brave of her to call the head of Asuras a mad ?
