The Beginning Of The End
It's the year 3000, human civilization is at its highest technologically. There aren't flying automobiles nor have we conquered Mars but rather the standard of living, and biological power. The human race has evolved rejecting the old religious norms entirely, the belief in a God, Angels even the belief in a Devil.
To the point that statistically there are less than a million people who idolize any supernatural being and far fewer that are truly devoted to it. Many have become accustomed to the system but very few see the reality of it all.
A reality that is far too unbeknownst, far too unknown, far too unidentified. Who knows the bloodshed, war, tears, and crimes must be committed before peace is attained but such a question lies in the hand of God.
But as the old phrase says "The Devil has many forms".
Claps echo through the classroom as the teacher ushers the group back to their seats.
"Great work, that's a solid Performance-", The teacher was quickly interrupted by the school bell.
"Alright, enjoy your vacation", The teacher finally says as the children rush out of the class, excited for their break.
As the children go outside they begin conversing while they slowly leave the campus.
They then form separate cliques comprising different boys and girls while talking to each other.
"Hey, Kinea are you coming to karaoke with us?", one of the clique girls asks.
"Sorry but I can't me and my bro are helping to organize a meeting for my dad", He replies.
"Speaking of which I should start going", Kinea says.
"Kean, come on let's get a move on. Do you want to be late for the meeting", says a young boy around 6'1 with sky-blue eyes, and white hair with black spots. He was wearing a white shirt with black trousers, a white belt, black leather shoes and a black tie.
"Alright I'm coming", Kean replies as he walks over. He looks like the spitting image of the boy beside him the only deciding characteristic was his hair which was black with white spots.
The boys walk sluggishly in the burning summer heat.
"Oh my God, it's so hot. Why can't Dad ever give us a ride", Kinea says.
"Aren't you the one who even wanted to go now, we both know he's really busy", Kean replies.
"Yeah but still, it wouldn't kill him to get his car to pick us up once in a while," said Kinea.
"Stop whining, we gotta hurry" Kean replies.
The boys finally reach their house
Which is an old large cottage which is painted green on the exterior and blue on the interior, the inside was properly furnished with couches, tables and even video and indoor games.
"Welcome boys", says a man with pink hair, and green eyes. Around 5'9 wearing a black shirt and shorts, his name is Patrick.
"Oh hey dad, we're ready to help set up", Kinea says.
"Oh don't worry I've got a few friends who are helping me, you two just go play video games or something", says Mr.Patrick.
"Thanks, dad", says the twins before going off to their rooms.
They had a television with two couches and a bunk bed.
The boys sit on their couch and turn on their Raystation 4 while Kinea has a very troubled look on his face.
"I wonder what dad's meeting is about", Kinea asks.
"It's probably something to do with his job, he's a doctor after all", Kean replies.
"I've got a bad feeling", Kinea says.
While the boys play their game they hear a light voice singing almost like a mermaid singing to them and they dose off in seconds.
"Hey, hey Kean, Kean! wake up", Kean exclaims while nogging his brother.
"Eh! What happened?", Kinea says while still being very drowsy.
It's night and the boys seem to be in the forest, they are tied to separate trees that are set side by side with no other trees in the vicinity.
A loud hush came from the distance and in the distance a man wearing a black robe all over his body even covering his head.
"Who the hell are you", Kinea asks.
In a low but stern voice, he says "Quite now, the ceremony will soon begin".
A fire lit up beside him, but no candles, no lantern. What it did show was another person in the same attire as him but simply in plain white.
And as such the flames formed one by one more and more people could be seen holding flames in their hands while wearing the same white clothing the flames soon formed a ring of fire which surrounded the twins.
There were about twenty flames altogether and twenty people holding those flames in their hands all wearing the white same robe.
"My servants let us do the work of our king in hopes that he may favour us", said the man in the black robe.
He raised his hand and the clouds began to move to form a spiral and a book fell from the sky like a thunderbolt but the man caught it with ease.
The book was completely dark on the outside with a name written in red.
"DANTE'S INFERNO".
The man then opened the book, flipped to a page and read from it.
Chanting whatever the book entails. At first, nothing happened until the flames in the people's hands began to go high into the air. Higher than the trees, and almost touching the clouds as they warp together and give off a strong blue colour.
The flames then shoot down at the twins completely engulfing them in it but they did not burn nor feel pain rather their bodies began to change, they got bigger then their hair grew to reach below their ears and their nails became bigger, sharper resembling claws.
When the fire finally stopped they became uncontrollable and had gone feral.
All the flames were then put off but there was a light source coming from the book, it radiated a dark red. That made the people there in awe.
They all then removed their robes except the one wearing black and bowed to the book, the book also made the twins go unconscious.
In a second, a man came from behind and punched the man in black.
He was sent flying, the man who punched him was dark-skinned with white hair and red eyes, he wore only black shorts.
He then grabbed the book but was then hit by the man in black. He was hit by a tree but still held on to the book and ran away.
As the man in black chased after him another appeared with long black hair and light green eyes, wearing completely black clothes.
He then raised his arm and made all the humans there go unconscious then he took the twins and by hitting his leg on the floor, opened a portal and left through it.
