4 IV

Camille's POV

"Here's your lunch." Sean had a huge grin on his face. He loves it when I bring him lunch, and I don't really mind.

"Thank you babe." He smiled, hugging me.

Sean's a great guy, ever since I came here at the Department he assisted me. He even went through the efforts of visiting the Daycare center I was teaching and talk to the child.

"Chicken tendies? My favorite? You're the best!" Sean chuckled. Sean's really appreciative of me, and I couldn't be more thankful of him.

"You okay? You seemed bothered." I heard Detective Nico's voice. While Sean continued to talk about how much he loves the food, I got distracted by the sight a few feet away from us. There they were, the famous trio, Detectives Ally, Nico, and Max.

"Max, you need to breathe sometimes." Detective Ally chuckled.

Ally's really nice, she's like the Mom of the group. She's usually behind computers, doing information details and all things related to it. Ones the case details are given, Ally assigns them to both field detectives. As of the moment, Nico and Max are assigned in different areas of work since they arrived. According to Sean, the department had loads of pending cases.

"We don't have much work today, we can go home and rest." Detective Nico said.

Nico's like the first born child, she's responsible for keeping things in place. She makes sure both Ally and Max are fine, Nico usually takes field actions with Max, but they differ in procedures. To Nico, the details she gets are not a hundred percent reliable, and needs to confirm it if it matches with Ally's before heading out.

"I'm fine gals, really." Max chuckled ruffling both the older ones hair.

Max, the only guy of the trio. Max was the youngest one out of the three, but he was the most workaholic one. Max doesn't sit around and wait for informations Ally releases nor confirms, rather he goes out and investigate. The details he gathers are enough for him for further case informations. Although Ally's informations are accurate, he just couldn't waste time.

From I heard, the trio are the best teams from the FBI they work on. They may have different personalities, but when they work together, the job is done quickly with pure accuracy.

"You have to remember you're not a robot." I heard Sean's voice, I looked at him and realized he was also looking at the trio.

Max gave him a nod before walking away with both girls clinging onto his biceps.

"Typical Detective Max, always on top of the game." Sean huffed, taking a bite of his lunch.

"Ever since they arrived, I can't reclaim my spot of being the morning talk." He added. I looked at him and gave him a chuckle, typical Sean.

"And here I thought I'm ahead of him, but it seems even my girlfriend is interested." Sean said, raising his eyebrows at me.

"I'm not." I chuckled at him, shaking my head. Sean was the jealous type, he hides it by teasing me, Although I could see it clearly.

"Alright, then what story of my childhood did I tell you a few moments ago?" He asked me.

Shit.

"Trick question, you never told me any story." I answered. Sean looked at me before shaking his head, I felt a pang of guilt hit me.

"Damn, you're good." He chuckled.

Wait what?!

"So, you're not interested in Max?" He asked, I quickly shook my head.

"I was looking at Nico's outfit. I was listening to you of course." I smiled at him. Although, it was partly true, partly false.

"Yep, I'm certain I won the lottery at this point." Sean beamed at me. He was good looking, nice, everything a woman could ask for. I sometimes pity him when he tries his best to compete with Max.

Despite being my guy, I have to admit that Max is a few stepping stones ahead of Sean. As for me, I always try to make an effort of telling and explaining that he doesn't have to compete with anyone at the workplace, although...I know he's highly competitive.

Sean's POV

"Sean." I turned around to see Peter, one of my co-workers.

"Yeah?"

"How are you buddy? You seemed to be working too much." He asked.

Truth be told, I am. I don't blame the trio, but it was kind of their fault. Ever since they came, my team did not receive the recognition we deserve. But don't get me wrong, I've worked with them. It was so fast paced, yet accurate and I loved it to the point that I hate it.

With ease, Max was able to pinpoint the area where the criminal could be hiding. Nico did not object, and Ally just smiled at him. We were kind of skeptical since the details weren't even fully capable of providing us such information.

But then again, it was them and they are known for doing the job precisely. I hate to admit it, but I find Max somehow cool. He's the youngster of the group, but he has a hold of both Nico and Ally. Although I know I am the youngest of the team, it's still hard for me to grasp their trust.

"I'm not, just finishing some touches on the new case report. You can go ahead Pete, I'm fine." I chuckled at him, he gave me a small smile before nodding.

A moment of silence passed, before it was disrupted by a question.

"Having trouble?" I looked behind me to see Detective Ally, smiling at me.

"Hey." I chuckled at her.

Ally was a short woman, with about 5'1 feet of height. Don't get me wrong, she may be small for a 26 years old but she's incredibly smart and techy. She has a light brown hair with highlights that fits her perfectly. From the three of them, Ally was the most approachable one since she usually works behind computers and is very friendly towards us. Aside from that, she's the most caring one.

"Let me help." She smiled at me, I gave her a shy smile before moving off my seat. To be honest, I was pretending to type. In reality, I was trying to fix the bug that appeared on the Computer.

"What made you work overtime?" I heard another voice and saw Nico.

"I have a few cases to type, but the computer won't let me." Nico gave me a nod before smiling.

Detective Nico, the 5'4 bronze skinned woman. Nico, like Ally was beautiful. As of the moment, her hair was colored blue. I must admit, not everyone can rock the hair color. Yet here she is, slaying. From what I heard, she has brown eyes and a nice smile. Nico's the nice one, you can come to her if you find yourself under case problems and she'll help with ease.

"You're quite the workaholic one too." The woman smiled at me, with Ally nodding in agreement.

"What about you two?" I asked them.

"We're about to head home actually." Ally chuckled, before standing up from the seat.

"Don't overwork yourself too much Sean." Nico smiled at me before patting my back and looking through the screen.

"Ah, Case 8232?" Nico asked me, I shyly nodded.

"Do you wanna take a look?" I asked her, Nico chuckled before squinting her eyes.

"You got this, your skills as a captain's remarkable." I heard Max.

Did he just complimented me? Well damn.

Max, Detective Max. A tall guy with raven hair, and of course his signature green eyes. Max was the pale one of the group, sometimes I tend to think he's a vampire. Yet with all the field works he does, I debug my theory. Max is nice, we never really talk much since he's out doing work. In the field, he's really astounding and strict. Outside the field, Nico and Ally says he's the quiet joker. He teases around, but is quiet.

How is that even possible?

"True that." Nico smiled.

"I couldn't agree more." Ally chuckled.

And this, this is why I love yet hate them. They're so nice, yet so...I don't even know.

"Here." Nico chuckled before giving me a cup of coffee.

"Don't work too much Captain Moore, you're not a robot." Max smirked before walking away behind the two. He's cool, but he annoys me. He's just to perfect for his job it annoys me, it's like he was made for it.
