1 Destiny beaten by Time(One-shot story)

"Leo!" a shout from a distance,its my friend Han. He is my friend since high school until now.
Han: Where have you been? You're late for like almost 2 hours
Han looks neat on his tuxedo and yeah,we're invited in a wedding. Zhy(Han's bestfriend) will soon get married.
Han: Let's go,idiot
He pulls me inside the church and I saw Zhy's groom talking happily with the bestman and the priest. And the wedding started,we watched how Zhy walk in the aile. My tears suddenly fell
Leo:*thought* What's this? Why am I crying? No,stop it.
As I watch them smile while the priest bond them with something omnipotent. I closed my eyes and memories flashes in my mind. And I wish I can,change it.

I was in high school, its first day in my new school means new faces,new friends and maybe I will find love here,but I won't expect such things.
Leo: *groans* so many stairs! I hate this,why am I assigned here in the third floor?
As I walk in the hallway,I notice that the hallway is very dusty. Then, I stood at the 2nd door and stares at the number above it
Leo: *sigh* Here it is,Room 304. I hope that my new classmates are better than the old ones.
As I open the door, I said to myself, "Yup,still messy". I picked a chair and sat on it. Then there's this silent girl, she caught my eye using her bright smile and lovely eyes. Yep, I'm inlove. I looked away.
Leo: *in mind* I think she likes me. Wait, no, stop assuming things and ignore her.
After a while,the bell rang,the class is starting and our teacher enters the room.
Teacher: Hello class,I'm Rive Romanov or just call me Mr. Romanov. I will be your adviser and your teacher in Computer Tech. Now that you know me,maybe introduce youselves one by one.
Leo: Oh crap,not this
Teacher: Starting from you *points at me*
Leo: *in mind* Shit. *stand in front* Hello,I'm Leo and I'm 16
Teacher: Thank you,please sit down. Next!
As I sit down,I sighed the sigh of relief. Some of their introductions are cringy and some are funny and creative but I've waited for the girl to introduces herself. As she walk to the front,I pay close attention to her
Zhy: Hi,My name is Zhy and I'm 21
I was shocked because I realised that she won't possibly accept me as her boyfriend because I'm too young for her.
After a month,everytime I look at her,she smiles and that's the reason why I'm falling for her. I met Han because he is a friend of Zhy and he notices something.
Han:*gets closer* Do you like Zhy?
Leo: N-no,I mean kinda
Han: I'm Han and Zhy is my best friend.
We are having a good time talking,until Zhy approaches us
Zhy: Hi,Leo
Leo: H-hi
Zhy: You know,every friend of Han is a friend of me too
Leo: Wow,t-thanks
That was our first conversation. Everyday I sit next to Zhy and Han. And as the time passes,I noticed that I've fallen in love with her. I told Han to not to tell Zhy about that. I chose to hid my feelings. After 3 years, I hid my feelings for her,hoping that one day,my feelings will be erased but I was wrong. Everyday and everytime,my feelings get deeper and deeper but I still need to hide my feelings. I got her social media account because she gave it to me so I can send her notes if she were absent. I stalked her account and found out that she has a boyfriend but they are miles apart. I was in pain,feels like all the hope was shredded into pieces. So I decided to confess. One summer day,I invited Han,Zhy and my other friends to the beach. This is it,I will confess everything. In the morning, Han called me to get ready. So I packed my things and rode my van. I picked Han and Zhy and two other friends named Ken and Josh. We rode for hours until we finally reached the beach. We rented "super" cottages because its an overnight vacation. I don't know why do they call it super cottages but I don't really mind. We split up and went into our cottages,got dressed and ready. We all went to the beach and we had fun. Until the sun sets and the night is upon us. I sat near in the seashore and stargazed. Then I heard a voice, "Can I join?". I looked back and saw Zhy. Leo: Sure
She sat beside me, I feel like this the time that I will confess
Leo: Uhh....Zhy I need you to tell something
Zhy: Sure, what is it?
She looks at me with curiosity
Leo: I'm in love with you. Even though you have a boyfriend. I hid this feeling for a long time and now.....
Zhy: You know, since that day,our first day in high school. I like you and then we became friends and my feelings got deeper. I tried to stop it because I have a boyfriend but I can't. So I'm in love with you too but we can't be together.
Leo: Its fine,I can wait. Even though its painful,I will wait.
Zhy: Oh please,don't expect things ok? There's no guarantee that we will be together
Leo. I don't care,I don't want to lose you
Zhy: *sigh* Ok
After that night,Zhy and I got closer,we acted like we are in a relationship and everyday it kills me to think that its an act. After 3 years of acting and dating,she texted me.
Zhy: *in text* Let's meet at the park. I need to tell you something
I felt a sudden burst of joy and excitement. This is it. I've waited a long time and now its coming. I dressed up and rode to the park.
I saw her sitting on the bench. I approaches her and she hugged me.
Zhy: Sit down.
Leo: *sat* So what is it,what do you want to tell me?
Zhy: Let's stop. I'm engaged. Please stop waiting for me. And as for me,I will delete this feelings for you
I was shocked. I feel like I was stabbed a thousand times. Tears are falling but I still need to answer.
Leo: Is that so? 3 years of pain, I still got nothing.
Zhy: Thank you for being patient and sorry for doing this for you.
Leo: Its fine and its all my fault so don't be sorry.
I smiled a bit and pretented that I'm fine.
Leo: Is that all that you want to say? Zhy: No *pulls a card* Han wants me to invite you for my wedding. I don't want to invite you but since Han is your bestfriend. Here. Leo: Thanks,I will go. I promise *took the card* Zhy: Bye
She walked away. I ran home. I tried to cope my sadness but I can't. I cried for weeks. I was in the bar regularly. I've wasted my damn years waiting for nothing. And now, here I am crying in the crowd. I wish I'm her groom. And I've concluded that. Time is more powerful than Destiny.
