3 Truly the God of Battle

"He looks familiar."

"Of course he does, he's our Moonlight, our God of Battle! We have his posters remember?"

Yueying was pulled back to reality when she heard Huiyin. She looked at Huiyin while the latter just rolled her eyes and laugh.

'I must have been wrong. How would I be even familiar with the God of Battle himself?'

She murmured to herself as she then shook her head and focused on the stage.

HOST: "FOR THE OTHER TEAM WHICH WILL BE FACING OFF AGAINST HUNTERS, LET'S WELCOME BLOOD LOTUS!"

The audience in the stadium cheered and shouted but not as lively as when Hunters was introduced.

HOST: "THIS IS THE FIRST MATCH OF THE TOURNAMENT AS WELL AS THE MOST ANTICIPATED! LET'S GET THIS SHOW STARTED!"

There were two separate glass rooms on the stage that could fit 5 computer units with complete gaming sets. On the top of the center of the stadium were four gigantic monitors that are to be used to spectate the upcoming battle.

As both teams were walking on their respective rooms, the crowd can't help but talk with their friends and companions.

"Hey, do you think Hunters will win again this year?"

"I don't think so. Blood Lotus has recruited the top 11-15 in the global ranking players for their roster. Hunters only got Moonlight and Sunshine (Hao Tian) which are the best. The rest of them are players from rank 63-65."

"Maybe they'll get eliminated this year. Let's vouch for Blood Lotus."

Lin Huiyin was fuming with anger when she heard them talk. If only they could see her, they'd notice her murderous gaze.

"These people. They don't even know what they're talking about. As expected of small-brained imbeciles!"

She pouted and glanced at Yueying.

Yueying just gave her an awkward smile and said

"Just forget about them! They'll eat their words when Master Moonlight wipes the floor with those rascals!

She proudly exclaimed while shooting a warm and admiring smile at the player who is titled as the God of Battle.

"Sunshine and I will be the vanguard. Poison and Bliss, you'll be looking after our backs. And Frenzy, you'll be the support this time."

Liang Feng was very good at using strategies and got the highest [1]APM among them so it was normal for him to be [2]calling the shots.

"Come on, old boss. We three will be the vanguards."

"You're stealing our limelight. Just let us handle this!"

"Since you've been working hard all this time, just sit back and relax. We can handle it!"

When he heard this, he immediately pinch the area between his eyebrows and then sighed.

He knew what the outcome would be if he let them but he also knew that they were getting cockier after winning two tournaments in a row. He wanted them to know that there are also players stronger than them so he just came up with the decision.

"Forget it. Do as you wish."

He then waved his hand as he got on his computer unit, sighing once again.

"We'll be the only two players left after they die, Feng. Do you think we can handle it?"

Hao Tian looked at Liang Feng with worries in his eyes. You could clearly see the fear in his expression. The fear of losing. Hao Tian is a stubborn player who doesn't want to accept defeat. It was normal for him to be acting like that.

"As long as you have my back and I have yours, we'll never lose."

Liang Feng calmly replied to Hao Tian as he offered a fist bump.

The latter's lips suddenly curved upwards and accepted the fist bump.

"Let's do this!"

BATTLE!

Blood Lotus suddenly went on the offensive and rushed to the Hunter's front with an organized position.

"Hah, you [3]newbies, you think you can defeat me?"

"[4]Frostbite!"

"[5]Reinforce Defense!"

The enemy team quickly dodged their attacks and proceeded to eliminate the three.

In the blink of an eye, Poison, Bliss, and Frenzy's characters were immediately slain.

"What the hell?! YOU F***KIN' MAGGOTS! What are you all doing?! Stupid!"

Huiyin exclaimed when she saw what happened. She covered her eyes with her right hand and shook her head in disappointment.

Yueying was calm as ever. She knew that Moonlight would never lose. The fires in her heart ignited and determination can be seen in her eyes. This time, she stood up and shouted

"GOD OF BATTLE, MOONLIGHT, YOU CAN DO IT!"

Seeing Yueying like this, Huiyin couldn't hold back her laughter and just said

"You are truly the God of Battle. Look at the people around you."

When she heard this, Yueying immediately glanced at her surroundings and noticed that people were staring at her. Her face reddened and she immediately sat back down.
