The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs to the lower floor was heard, the footsteps sounded very rushed. Seeing the clock, it was already 07.30, where the owner of the footsteps was carrying out his routine activities, namely going to school.

"Yes ma'am, afraid to oversleep like yesterday. Yesterday I missed the bus and had to walk to school hehe." the boy smiled showing a row of neat teeth when his mother walked towards him.

"Next time, don't study until late, honey. I don't want you to get tired and have a nosebleed like last week." the boy smiled as his mother ruffled his black hair.

"I can't buy you a bicycle to go to school yet. I'm sorry."

"Ah, mother starting again. I don't mind if I don't have a bicycle and have to walk, mom. I'm happy to be able to get to school safely." The mother could only nod her head.

Fortunately she has children who really understand his situation which can be said to be far from well-off.

But the child looks very grateful for what they have without demanding anything from him.

"Okay, now you have breakfast, and I will prepare lunch for you to take to school." the man nodded and smiled showing his crescent moon eyes which made his smile look very sweet.

"Baek, after school can you replace mother in looking after the shop. Mother has orders to be delivered to buyers." said the mother while arranging lunch for her son.

"Yes ma'am, Baekyeon will go straight to the shop after school." he answered before continuing his breakfast activities.

After finishing his breakfast, the man took the bag that he had put on the chair next to his seat and headed to the back of the house to say goodbye to his mother.

"Mom, Baekhyun is leaving." Baekyeon shouted desperately when he could not find his mother's whereabouts.

That man is Koo Baekyeon, son of Han Sena and Koo Jumyeon. He is 17 years old, at the age now he only lives with his mother.

He is a boy who is very smart and also intelligent, as evidenced in his room there are lots of trophies for his success in participating in several competitions at his school.

"Baekyeon-a , you forgot your nametag." said Sena who jogged over to Baekyeon and put a nametag on her son's alma mater.

Clearly visible on Baekhyun's right chest there is a nametag that reads "Koo Baekyeon." there lies the surname of his beloved late father who died 7 years ago.

"Next time, don't be careless. You can be punished if you don't use your nametag." Sena rubbed Baekyeon's nametag which was a bit dusty.

"Thank you ma'am, next time I won't be so careless. Then I'll go."

Sena nodded with a smile, "Be careful on the road."

baekhyun nodded, "Sure, Mom." Baekhyun walked out of the house excitedly.

After Baekyeon left for school, Han Sena had tears in her eyes.

The woman remembered her late husband when she saw her son's nametag.

There his son's name really deserves to be combined with the surname of his late husband. Koo Joomyeon.

Flashes of the past resurfaced when her husband's life had to be taken away to be held accountable for his actions.

During the trip there was no chat between Suyeon and the driver.
