Destiny (my life in a different world)

Destiny is a being not of this earth born to be a servant of death himself and to roam the earth a temporary companion to many and to teach them of themselves and guide them to their fates. She was spotted at a young age by a powerful otherworldly species due to her connection with death and natural abilities, and was genetically altered in order to yet again fill another role decided for her. Groomed from birth by death and by this mysterious race of aliens, Destiny is forced to figure out what her true role is in this world and if she can in fact gain control of her own fate and that of the entities she has grown to love and care about. Plagued with nightmares of the tragic world to come she must learn how to shift through dimensional loopholes and to negotiate with the powers of the universe to reconsider their dark purposes.
