17 Its Complicated

Rajo rushed to call the doctor after receiving the call from her young master. She felt helpless.

Radha was a sweet girl and although Madhav was engaged to some girl nobody had seen, she could never judge the two for the sinful chemistry they radiated.

Even to a conservative and closed lady like her one thing was obvious, Radha and Madhav were perfect for each other.

Judging them so easily didn't feel right even for her typically hardwared Indian Mom brain.

The girl was humble, naive, sincere and so full of compassion. In a matter of five days she had all the house staff wrapped around her little finger. She felt like one of their own, yet, there was something about her that screamed in silence that she was no ordinary girl. She was much much more than just the eyes meet.

The last three days saw some obvious tension between the love birds but when Madhav and Radha left together this evening, Sarju was practically dancing around like a kid.

Rajo usually avoided discussion on her Employer and so far the Rathores were concerned, she had served Madhav's father and then his elder brother on their occasional visits to the Eastern part of the Country.

But it was during Maya's stay in the city for MBA that Rajo realized how well behaved and different this family was. This was the third Royal family she was seeing and this family was completely different from the rest.

Her respect for these people ran deep and from within.

Rajo felt her anxiety rising as she called the doctor and waited impatiently for the couple to return.

The bell rang and she rushed to the door only to find an agitated and awestruck Kittu standing at the door, closely followed by Sarju.

Rajo pushed them aside only to be hit equally by the sight in front.

Madhav was standing at the back, speaking to Basu in hushed voice while Kiriti was the one who carried Radha Baby in a protective way. He himself looked ravaged, as if hit by a car. His usual neat hair was dishevelled and the shirt pocket hung loose.  His cheeks were abnormally flushed and eyes watery. He looked like a madman as he shoved past the house staff and harshly asked,

Which way?

Sarju rushed with them and Rajo decided not to let go without interrogation.

Baba..... Stop.

You are not going anywhere without explaining. What happened?

Madhav, who had started after Kiriti and Radha signalled Basu to follow them while he himself turned to face Rajo.

Ai. There's been a situation. You can see, Radha kind of had a vision and lost sanity after meeting Kiriti.

Madhav shrugged.

That ain't a good explanation Baba. Spill. Else I will call your mother.

Madhav sighed.

In good time Ai. But my fiancee needs me. Can I please go to her room?

Rajo was thunder struck.

Madhav winked and tapped at the obscenely flashy ring he had been wearing for the past two months since he declared his secret engagement to some mysterious heiress.

Looking at her confused form Madhav sighed,

All in good times Ai. But for now, just know this is the girl I am set to spend my life with. But it's complicated. She has no idea she is bethrowed to me. Can you please keep shut for my sake?

Rajo nodded in disbelief.

Seriously!!!! Wow....

Fine. I will get you guys coffee. Just don't mess much with the poor girl.

And she huffed off towards the kitchen.

Madhav sat like a statue once the doctor left.

DEEP TRAUMA. WEAK VITALS. IRREGULAR BREATHING. MENTAL INSTABILITY.

Great.

Basu was looking at him with daggers in his eyes.

Cough it up Madhav. Why did you not postpone the meeting? And once again, why did she attack Kiriti? What has he done? So far I know, he has always loved her. He doesn't deserve it.

Throughout the time Kiriti remained silent. But he refused to leave Radha's side. Today's evening had been traumatizing for him but, he took no notice of that. Meeting Radha threw him off guard.

Madhav Bhaiya, she saw something? Isn't it?

Madhav nodded.

Do I deserve this hatrayal?

Madhav remained silent. But his silence spoke volumes.

Kiriti dropped his head.

Basu huffed.

He never realized the equation between Kiriti and Madhav. They were weird together.

Madhav was like sunlight and  Kiriti was like a plant. Basu doubted him at times. But for Kiriti he was absolute.

Madhav often told things that made no sense in the beginning. But one thing was clear to him, Madhav was an amazing mind reader and he knew things. Past, present, future.... He just knew things that was beyond normal. But how he was  so confident and so correct that Basu could never figure out. Neither did he intend to. But being guided by him was a benefit that none of the brothers were ready to sacrifice. It was pure Divine grace to be guided by Madhav. They both felt lucky regarding this friendship.

Madhav nodded.
