1. love at first sight?

Walking out of her house , a new day in a new school . Sitting in her classroom , she had gotten used to her new environment . Everyone was busy talking when a man of robust , muscular figure with fair skin walked in . "Goodmorning class " , greeted their new teacher. Their previous teacher had called it quit when she got a new job in another school. Looking at the students . Mr Jane greeted and introduced himself. Layla sitting the middle and front bench noticed how this new teacher is a friendly man . "I want to take tuition , I should talk to him as it's better to have it in school " , thought Layla.

"Sir , will you be taking tuition?" , asked Layla

"I'll have to talk to your principal first ", said he

"okay sir "

"would you like it to be after school?"

"sir I'll be hungry by then "

she squinted her eyes as Mr Jane couldn't help but think what a beautiful reaction and voice she had . As for Layla , this is a completely different thing . She had joined into a new school because her monther wanted her to have better facilities with good teachers in another big city . She's in her freshman year of high school . After school , she rushed back home . Anything to get back home but home isn't always home when you're not with people you're comfortable with. Layla isn't an orphan nor her parents abandoned her but she lives with her. aunt and uncle . Her mother trusted her to their care . She believed , her mother , that her brother who is Layla's uncle could change her for the better. Mr White was a strict person where everything he says has to be done. He raise his voice to such and extend that can be heard by the whole neighbourhood. At first Layla thought she'll be fine with everything in her life but as days goes by she's bound to know the troubles that awaits her . School closes soon after the month of March as there was a pandemic . During the pandemic , many things happened. Her boyfriend broke up with her . He finished his high school and got into a promising University . She felt as though his humble self has left him . He left her just because his parents knew about their relationship and doesn't approve of it , as they were students . It has almost been 2 years being together but he suddenly broke up with her , three days before their second anniversary . She was heartbroken . Her mother noticed the sadness and asked her. She told her mother the truth . And mother was more of a friend to her. After month's of struggling, missing and longing him .She knew it was time for a change . She cut off her long hair to a shoulder length haircut. Dated many boys for 1 month the and 2 weeks the least . Little did she know , on another person's life , she was the person that can't be forgotten. A person that captured his heart .
