1 Chapter 1

"Mommy, hurry up, we will be late." Tyler said shouting at her mom.

"Alright, just one more minute." Aly shouted back and continues preparing herself.

"Why is it girls are taking too long when dressing themselves?" Caden asked his older brother. Tyler only shrugged his shoulders.

Aly Andrada... 28 years old widow, 5 foot 4 inches tall, had a 36-24-36 alluring body, fair skin, almond shaped eyes, a greek nose, a heart shaped lips and an oval face with a smooth jawline. An eye catching gal, a second turner beauty.

Tyler Andrada...eldest son of Aly. An 11 year old boy in his 6th grade.

Caden Andrada...the youngest of Aly. He's 10 and in 5th grade.

It is Sunday and it is the school's family day. Every year, Bluestone Academy is celebrating a day with the family of their students. All are required to attend the whole day event. In the morning, they will celebrate mass, followed by a program wherein the students will show dances that were assigned to them by the administrators, take their lunch afterwards, then the games as the last part of the program.

"Mommy!" Tyler shouted again.

"I'm coming." Aly said.

"Mom, what took you so long?" Caden asked pouting his lips. Aly smiled while going down the stairs.

"Even without the make up, you are still beautiful Mommy." Tyler said with a serious face.

"Oh, come on, you two, it's still early. We will arrive there 30 minutes before 9 am." Aly said smiling.

"Let's go, Mom!" Caden said while pulling Aly outside.

"Wait, I'll get the car keys and my bag and of course our things." Aly said trying to let go of Caden's hands.

"Here are your keys, Mom and as for your bag and for our lunch and snacks, it's already inside the car." Tyler said while giving the keys to her mom. Aly smiled and hurriedly kissed both his sons.

"Eeew,Mom!" Tyler and Caden once spoke. Aly laughed while running towards her car.

Their house is located in an executive subdivision. It is a two storey building. A garage, living room, dining room, kitchen, a bath, and one bedroom turned into a study room on the ground floor. Two bedrooms for the two boys, a bath, the master bedroom with a master bath for Aly, and a balcony on the second floor. The house was the fruit of Aly and his late husband's hardworks.

Though Aly can afford hiring a nanny for the two boys, she stopped herself from doing so. She wanted to take care of her sons, give their wants and support their needs.

Aly's late husband died five years ago due to a car accident. At first, she was really devastated. She did not know where to start living without her husband. It was really hard for her but because of her family, her husband's family, her friends, and most of all, her sons, she moved on little by little.

Aly is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ocampo. Her elder brothers are Greg and Joey Ocampo who had their own family already.

Aly decided to stop working in a company and later started a laundry business, the "Heaven Scent Laundry". It was located in their subdivision. Her parents and brothers bought the land near the gate of the place and through her savings together with her husband savings, in which she has no idea that later was given to her by her in laws, she was able to build a two storey building.

Heaven Scent Laundry. Just as the name said, from heaven with love. The first floor is the service area. Complete with the washers, dryers, pressing machines, steamers and steam boilers. The second floor is Aly's office. She had 6 staffs namely Amelia, Lily, Emily, Ava, Isla, and Jackson who was the one responsible for the pick up and delivery of the clothes. From the very start, it was a success, eventhough there were many competitors in the business. Almost all the houses in their subdivision were their customers. Aly made sure that all their customers will be very satisfied and pleased with the outcome of the laundry's services. She made it clear with her staffs that it's the quality not the quantity that is important.

"Amelia, we're on our way to Bluestone Academy. I will be there maybe later this afternoon. Have you taken your breakfast?"

Aly asked through the phone.

"Yes, Ma'am, we're already finished eating. Jackson went out for the pick up and delivery of the clothes." Amelia said.

"Who's the cook for today?" Aly asked.

"It's Lily, Ma'am." Amelia answered.

"Tell Lily it should be delicious." Aly said smiling.

"Yes, Ma'am." Amelia said giggling.

"Oh my, I'm the dishwasher today. Sad to say, I'll skip the lunch but I will do it at dinner." Aly said smiling.

"Don't worry, Ma'am, I'll cover you for today but you'll be the dishwasher for tomorrow." Amelia said smiling too.

"Ok! That's a deal." Both of them laugh.

....

"Dad?" Harper calling her father.

I'm still here at the bathroom." Brett answered.

"What!?" Harper screamed.

"Just a second, my stomach ached." Brett said.

"Aria and I were done packing. Nanny Laura said she will be going to the market and next to the laundry shop." Harper said.

"Ok, sweetheart. Just a moment, please." Brett said. Harper went downstairs to accompany her sister, Aria.

"Where's dad?" Aria asked.

"Bathroom." Harper answered.

"Are we going to be late?" Aria said.

"A little maybe but I told Tyler to save three seats for us." Harper answered.

"I also told Caden." Aria said.

Harper and Tyler were classmates same as with Aria and Caden. They were also the best of friends.

Nanny Laura was the one who always accompanies them in every family day. Their dad will only attend the mass and later will leave because of work matters. It's the first time that their dad will attend the whole day affair.

"Dad, let's go!" Aria shouted.

"I'm ready." Brett hurriedly went down the stairs.

"Dad, your zipper!" Harper said laughing.

"Oh." Brett said and zipped his pants immediately. They went out of the house and rode their car.

Lessons from quotes (source unknown)

A boy and a girl could be just friends but at one point or another, one of them will fall for the other, maybe temporarily, maybe at the wrong time, maybe too late or maybe just maybe forever...

A good relationship is not two people dependent upon each other. But rather, it's two independent people choosing to be together.

The sweetest thing that a guy can say is "I love you", but doesn't mean it. But the sweetest thing he can say is "I don't love you", but cries inside.

A woman was created from the ribs of the man not from his head to be above him, not from his side to be equal, not from his feet to be walked upon, but under his arms to be protected and near his heart to be loved.

Acting different when you don't care is easy, but the hard part is acting indifferent when you do care a lot.
