Inside a dark room with no windows, there was a man tied up on a chair using a rusty chain and a tattered sack covering his head. Although he did not receive any injuries from his abductors last night, his clean and expensive white shirt dress was now soiled in dirt and sweat. His bare feet can feel the damp and sticky substance on the floor. The strong stench odor inside the room infiltrated his nose making his face crumpled in disgust. Even though he wanted to scream for help, there was a dirty rug stuffed on his mouth that prevented him from making any noise.

The man tied up on the chair was none other than Earl Karl Bartilon.

The earl suddenly heard a screeching noise coming from the rusting metal door. It was followed by the sound of footsteps walking towards his direction. Out of nowhere, a hand roughly pulled the sack on his head. Earl Bartilon blinked his eyes several times to adjust his sight.
