22 Li Ya

"You...you're back!" Yueying exclaimed.

"Damn right I'm back! But that's not the point. Who is this guy? You'd chat me everything about here in Tech City but you hid this from me. Hmmp. Am I still your best friend or what?" The blondie retorted as she pointed to Liang Feng. She was wearing an blue off-shoulder top and black short shorts. Her figure was that of a model while her snow-white skin complimented her beauty. She was holding a luggage bag so if one could see her, she'd look like a foreigner visiting.

Still, Liang Feng didn't waste a glance at her. He was focused on Yueying's expression who looked like she'd seen someone she hadn't seen in a long time.

Yueying quickly rushed towards the woman and tightly hugged her.

"Li Ya! I'm so happy that you're back. I missed you so much. I'm sure Huiyin misses you this much, as well."

Li Ya was a childhood friend of both Yueying and Huiyin. Because her parents separated, she moved with her mother overseas. The three of them were still connected as the three of them played Helium and constantly spoke with each other.

"Yueying, it's Lea now. But if it makes you happy, then you can continue calling me Li Ya!"

"Mmm. Now I know why you were offline in the past few days." Yueying nodded enthusiastically.

"Yes. But still, who's the guy you were hugging just now?"

Yueying moved away from her embrace and cleared her throat.

She moved back beside Liang Feng and spoke.

"Li Ya, this is Liang Feng. My boyfriend. And, ehem, Liang Feng, this is one of my best friends, Li Ya."

Liang Feng nodded and extended his hands, offering a handshake.

"Nice to meet you."

Li Ya stared at Liang Feng with a probing look before accepting the handshake.

"Hmmm. Nice to meet you too. But if you hurt Yueying, I'll hunt you down to the ends of the earth."

"That won't happen. I'll never allow anyone to hurt my wife." Liang Feng answered.

Wife. Yueying was getting used to Liang Feng calling her his wife.

She did not even attempt to correct the word. She just smiled on the back of her mind.

"I still haven't approved of you yet. You play Helium, right? Of course you do. You're even enrolled in this kind of university. How about this. If you can beat me in a duel, I'll accept you as Yueying's boyfriend." Li Ya grinned as she challenged Liang Feng. She was very confident about herself because she was the captain of a professional team overseas named Limited Ambition while her character ranked 130th in the Global Rankings.

Yueying's eyes widened. She glanced at Liang Feng in a panic while he looked at her with a questioning look that asked if Yueying approves of him battling Li Ya.

Yueying shook her head, signifying that she won't allow it.

Liang Feng shifted his gaze to Li Ya and spoke.

"Sorry, my wife doesn't want me to do so."

"That's right! Li Ya, only a professional player have the chance to beat you. Spare my boyfriend from your challenges, he he." Yueying spoke in panic and gave off an awkward laugh. Li Ya is a stubborn girl who doesn't like to lose. She was afraid that if Li Ya is defeated, she'd feel depressed.

"We still have to hurry up and surprise Huiyin so don't challenge him anymore."

Yueying grabbed Li Ya's arm and dragged her.

Yueying turned and shouted

"Liang Feng, I still have to take this annoying girl with me. Thank you for taking me home!"

Thus, Liang Feng was left all alone. He looked at the back of the two girls happily.
