4 The skinwalker

Just when he thought he is better now and controlled his emotions. Footsteps were sounded, he knew who was there, so he kept his eyes closed and laid there peacefully.

"The problem has stabilised after marking the whole territory as ours. We have also cleared the paths for us. And a new business is set up to cover new human territories" his aid and the gama of the pack reported. But even after telling everything, he remained there standing. His voice was not heard anymore yet he knows he is still there.

'This is not the nature of his gama, is something amiss?' "What is it?" He asked opening his eyes for the first time.

"I.. I found my mate." He said hesitating, after all, it was alpha who gets mated first not gama. But due to the curse of Denvals, they never get mated naturally.

So, it's normal to find his mate because alpha is not ready to choose any. His golden eyes shining like fire. He growled "so what do you want me to do? Throw a party!" His sarcastic remark made Olcan speechless.

"Hey, why are you on edge these days. I am telling you I found a mate because. You must know that" he snapped but looking at his eyes he dropped his voice. "Alpha who don't you just take a vacation, the conditions are stable now. I and Radolf will handle here." He advised

"I am fine, conditions could get worse anytime. I can't take a vacation as I want" he said closing his eyes back.

"But you haven't taken any from the past 80 years. Your wolf is on edge these days. Even Radolf feels so." He stopped then with brightening eyes he said "Do you remember we acquired a new company last week, that old man is still trying to snatch it back. Mere human thinks he can fight with us! Why don't you go to Senroil city to acquire the company plus settling a place for our pack there?"

"Ask Radolf to go, it's not such a big matter for me to interfere. What happened to skinwalkers interference. What were they doing in our territory walking as wolves?" He asked sitting back on his chair and looking at a far distance. His eyes still glowing with an itch in his body. He growled suddenly making Olcan jump back.

"What happened?" He asked bewildered with the sudden annoyance but before he could ask more, she shifted to his wolf form and ran nearby. Olcan followed him also shifting in his wolf form.

After running to a distance he stopped and attacked to the nearby wolf, biting on her neck ferociously, the attack was so sudden, the she-wolf was not prepared for it she howled and wriggled to make herself free but he was strong enough to keep her neck in his mouth. She tried to injure him by her claws but he put his claw on her bruising her in between, blood kept pouring from her neck and she had started struggling to take a breath but he just clawed her more and more.

Olcan reached there when Fenris has almost killed a wolf. He was stunned because as an alpha, he has always protected their members much less trying to kill them himself. But his eyes were filled with blood and his attacks were lethal. He has almost shred her skin to an unrecognizable point. Was he that infuriated?

But before he could stop him. The wolf in his grip turned into a woman but not human form like they have. But in the witch form with glittering silver eyes and crooked nose. A skinwalker he exclaimed!

How didn't he noticed that a skinwalker has entered not even in their territory but at their sacred forest of rituals where they chose and mark their mates.

"Tell me who sent you here?" He shouted taking his human form again blood was still dripping from his mouth and his body was smeared with her blood too. He smelt of her blood and fire. His eyes glowing like fire and his canines were still there.

"We will not stop without taking back our queen?" She hollered even with so much pain. Her limbs were almost out, her skim was gone shredded into pieces, blood was flowing like a river yet her eyes were ferocious. "You will never win this war. We will not stop until we found our queen back."

"You think I would believe you" he laughed menacingly. His voice was so cold and deep it has an asking crawling effect on olcan too who was just standing on the side knowing he was not the reason for his anger. "You are not on the side of witches. You have backstabbed them enough times than we did. You just live for yourselves. And yet you are here ready to die for finding the Queen of witches. You think I am a fool." He snarled, ready to attack again before she could move.

But at the same moment, the witch burned herself. He looked around and howled. Many wolves came listening to his alpha voice and bowed so as olcan.

"I want you to check every path. How the hell did a skinwalker come to this place without getting noticed, she even reached my place. Huh?" "Next time it happens, and I will not forgive the culprit." He snarled at them.

They all remain bowed, too ashamed to look at him. Just then his mother, their luna entered the place. "She stopped in front of the burning body and took a sniff. Her eyes glowed just like her son and she let a howl.

" it's wolfsbane, she is using wolfsbane to hide her presence." She looked around and said "sniff everyone around you and those who don't have a smell, separate them and bring them here." She looked at every one present there.

Everyone bowed and obliged after an hour later they returned telling there is no more skin walker among them.
