2 Chapter 1: Who Am I?!

Please make it stop, please make the deaths stop...

The red flowers in my hand trembled along with every part of my body. Tears nearly fell from my eyes. Today my last family member died, my brother, Ray Clayton.

First it was my father, Kelvin Clayton, who died from a heart attack. Then my mother, Mildred Reid, who died from cancer. Recently, it was Alex Clayton, my sister, who died from falling off her own balcony. And now my brother who died from an explosion. He was a scientist.

Today is the day of his funeral, I payed almost all of my money for it and others might not come. I don't care, as long as he has one.

Thinking this, I took off my watch and held it close to my chest. 'Father, please stay with the family up in heaven.' I said in my heart. As I was about to cross the street, someone bumped into me, knocking the watch out of my hands and into the street next to me.

The person didn't bother to even say sorry and walked away speedily. The light was red, but there were no cars. Running into the road, I bent down and picked up my watch, putting it on my wrist. Lovingly gazing at it, I turned to go back.

The shock was barely a mili-second. A red Ford was right in front of my face, ready to plow me down.

And it did.

CRUNCH!!!

Most of my bones broke, at least I think so, and I smeared and coughed blood onto my priceless watch my father gave me. I fainted right then and there.

...

I opened my tired and sore eyes to a room with green and black in cute patterns all along the walls. I was in a bed with blue covers, and someone sat next to me.

As my eyesight cleared more and more, I saw that it was a man. He had unnatural red eyes and jet black hair. His sorrowful eyes focused on my tired body, reflecting the image of a face I did not know.

I'm unsure why but I wished to comfort this man. Moving my tired hand toward his that was placed on this bed, I held his warm hand in mine.

His handsome face gradually revealed shock and memories flooded into my very bones. This man was my step-brother, not even step-brother, actually, he was just one of the 'bastard' children of his mother's last marriage. His name was Xun Jiang, one of the twins. His twin, Xun Xiang, had a pair of blue eyes instead of red, taking after his mother.

My name is Xun Ari. I have unnatural silver hair, unnatural golden eyes and "just the right figure." I'm an idiot and cannot use magic. I'm not only arrogant, but also demanding and revolting to other people who know my personality.

My fiancè, Sheng Wei of the royal family, Fourth Prince, has broken off his engagement with me that was promised by the Emperor a month before he and I were born. I grew up to be a trash, but they kept their promise.

They used some underhanded means, however, to break it off without ruining their reputation, resulting in me trying to take my life. I died, but now I, the soul of Arianna Clayton, am Xun Ari.

I gasped after letting all that information flow into me. This can't be real. But it could, too. If one believed in other dimensions and worlds, this could be it. As I am just a doctor and not something who knows the ins and outs of everything, this is simply my observation, it may not be absolute but it should be true.

My soul, not body, has crossed over into another's. This world is not just full of humans. The man holding my hand is a vicious vampire, his twin brother an angel. Angels are not divine beings with wings, godly auras, and great looks, they are just like everyone else. Their magic element is naturally light and if they go up high enough in the stages, they can have wings. But only angels and demons, no other creatures.

This... is too shocking! It's just like a fantasy world!

"Your... awake?" Xun Jiang asked. I nodded solemnly. I had just noticed the bags under his tired eyes. "You've been unconscious for a whole week."

"Oh..." I replied with a hoarse voice.

Just then, a maid rudely burst into the room, chuckling, "Young master Xiang requests Miss Ari's presence in the garden." Xun Jiang rushed to his feet, wishing to come with, but was interrupted by the maid. "He asked that no one but her goes."

I had a coughing fit, feeling I could nearly vomit a whole liter of blood because of this b*******. How could one request another's, note that the person just woke up after a week of sleeping, visit just like that? Not logical!

From years of experience as a doctor, however, I was able to keep a calm composure and followed the maid out of the room, limping slightly with my tired legs.
