The pack house was buzzing with activity, ignoring all of it Asonya walked out the front door walking into the forest. She walked pass two rows of tree where no one could see her from the pack house before she stripped naked folding her clothes she put them behind the tree.
In a micro-second you could hear bones popping and breaking out of place to form the firm of the beast that now stood on all four. Her ash brown wolf was six feet tall, to the human eyes that's one hell of a big ass wolf but I'm the wolf world she is small though she is bigger than most average she-wolves.
Her size might be due to the fact that she trains herself and her wolf to be strong like any male wolf. Without hesitation she took off running through the forest letting her wolf forward. Since it was still winter there was still snow on the trees and the forest floor which she kicked up with her paw.
The cold wind felt good in her fur and since she didn't let her wolf out to run wild in over three days now she pull back to let her have all the fun she wanted. They dodged through trees after trees and if you were on the outside looking all you could see was a blur.
Stopping at the frozen pond she stared at her wolfie reflection as the moon shines down on her. With her tongue hanging out of her head, licking her face she pulls it back in. The run have been good for both her and her wolf. She might not be eager and happy to meet her mate tonight or know who he is but her companion she wants to. Sending her explicit imagines and what she thinks her mate looks like. Sonya her wolf maybe ready to mate but Asonya the human is not.
She shakes her body shaking off the snow flakes that have fallen on her stretching her body like a cat. Turning around to return to the ceremony in time but stop when she heard a sudden sound coming from the left of the forest.
Her ears twitched on her head trying to pick it up again waiting for whatever to make a move for her to attack. She tried using her eye sight but only say the snow crusted trees. She lift her nose to the air smelling but the wind carried no scent but the one of snow and cold. Shaking her head she walked out of the clearing and took off back on the trail that she came from running back in the direction of the pack house.
Meanwhile, the man paused in his step realizing his mistake too soon drawing back into the dark. He was too transfixed on the she-wolf to realize that he was stepping on a twig. But how could she have heard such a small sound, and also he made sure that he was as further away from her as possible.
Even though he had masked his scent he wasn't going to take any chances. On his quest to find her and capture her he thought it would have been an easy task to grab and go. But after observing her for four days he realized that his target is not the average she-wolf who needs protecting.
Asonya is more than capable of taking care of herself and works vigorously to take care of others around her. All those who are in need of her help. She might not be packing loads of muscles like seasoned male wolves but she is as strong as two of them combined.
Asonya didn't get that way by idling around and worrying about looking beautiful and feminine. She didn't based her future on her mate to swoop in and protect her. She wanted to be able to protect her self so she trained double time to reach the level of intensity she is at now. She might be the strongest wolf in her pack but she can fight to save a life.
So if this man want to do this catch and run he might be risking his life trying to kidnap a she-wolf like her. He has to be strategic about this, not rash. Of course he's strong, he didn't survive this long because he's week. Strength won't let you survive this long in this business, it's the use of your brain and well put out plan. That's what kept him alive for do long in this world not brute strength or hasty decisions.
He just has to go about this the right way.
In an instant she transformed into her human body. She picked up the clothes that she hide behind the tree putting them on. They weren't cold with the snow or wet because she didn't place them on the forest floor. There was a hole dug out under the tree where there was no snow. It's a small burrow where clothes are kept. There's no explanation for that you know the reasons why.
She pulled her hair out of the neck of her blouse, sighing she continued her walk to the pack house where unmated wolves and too eager she-wolves where entering the pack house then through the back door.
Sensitive hearing can be a problem at times, like now, she can hear most of the conversation going on now and it's a buzz. Not wanting to have a headache this early she tried to ignore them as best as she can.
She found Tyeeka waiting for her outside in the back yard. Arms fold and foot tapping. She was getting impatient. Hope she doesn't bail, if she does she's dead. Her thought was getting violent. Tyeeka too was anxious and nervous. Thinking about meeting her mate.
When she finally saw Asonya walking through the bank door she breaks her character walking up to her giving her a stern look. "What too you so long?" Tyeeka demands. "You said you were only going for a run."
"I did," Asonya answered tiredly like she couldn't be bothered with Tyeeka's drama.
"A run around the whole pack territory." This causes Asonya to sign. "It's luck that you even came back. I thought you'd miss the ceremony," she added.
"I made it didn't I," I said shrugging.
"Yes you did, now come I don't want to get left behind. I wanted to stand directly under the moon light," Tyeeka confesses.
Asonya rolled her eyes following her best friend and the unmated wolves to the clearing where the moon will shine the brightest.
"You do know that the moon shines on everyone band no matter where you stand the rays of the iridescent moon while reach you," Asonya said to her. "Don't worry I think the moon will shine especially bright tonight just for you." Asonya teased.
Tyeeka lightly slaps her before laughing. "Let's stay close together. I don't want to lose you. I don't know what or who my mate is going to be but I need your support and I'll do the same for you."
Tyeeka smiled despite the nerves that she has been trying to to rub out.
"Don't you worry Tyee, your mate will adore you," Asonya replied giving her a self reassurance smile.
*And yours."
"As if." Asonya snorted.
