"Master," he bowed before his superior holding out a letter in his hand.
"Yes," he answered pausing in his movement.
"I've received a letter for you and was told to deliver it to you right away," there was no hesitation when he spoke and right to the point no wasting time.
"Who did they say it was from?" he asked his voice so smooth every word rolled off of his tongues. His voice is so alluring girls stop just to hear him talk all day for the rest of their life.
"They didn't say Sir just said I should deliver it to you straight away." He hummed when he heard this brushing off his shoulder. There was no one he could think about sending him any letter that should be directly sent to him. All of his letters are given to Pecho to sort and relay to him the important ones.
"Leave it there, I'll read it later." He waved the servant away wanting to return to what he was doing.
"The messenger not to put off on reading it," he relayed with no hesitation still standing there with his head bowed, one knee on the floor, and the letter in his outstretched hand.
With a slight raise of his eyebrow, he finally turned around to grace the servant and the supposed letter. There was nothing on the envelope to indicate who the sender was just a brown plain envelope.
Finally, he took the letter from his servant. "Your dismissed." He turned around the envelope in his hand taking a sniff but there was no familiar scent there was no scent at all.
Strange.
Reluctantly, he reaped the envelope open, and inside was a folded paper. Taking it out he unfolded it and on it was just a few words. No address either on the inside and it still didn't say who it was from but he understood and a small smile broke out on his face. If the servant was looking up he wouldn't have seen it, his master never smile but this one was small.
He looked up about to call back the servant that he had just dismissed but he was still there.
"Good, you're still here," he said looking down at his servant.
"I've never left Sir, he did say that you would have a message for me right away." And he did. When the servant left he sat down pushing back the hair out of his face that same smile still sitting there on his face and you would think any minute now he would break out into a smile but he didn't. He maintained that same smile, a smile that held so much meaning.
We've found you now. Now, where will you run now? Nowhere but right into my trap.
Asonya stayed under the water a bit longer letting the drops beat on her skin. She has so much on her mind since this morning. Asonya couldn't help but stare at her right wrist where a name would appear on the twelfth stroke of midnight. All-day she had tried to ignore it but how could she when it was all the pack members talk about.
Damn, she's going to get a mate in 47h 13m and 48 seconds and counting. If that calculation is correct then maybe Asonya has less time to be alone and free from an antagonizing male.
Turning off the water she steps out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her that she used to dry her body. It didn't take long for her to get dress and out the door to have dinner with the rest of the pack and to endure getting her ears chat off about who her potential mate would be.
Asonya sat down at the table and the Luna did not disappoint and made a meal that could feed the whole pack, or mostly just them since they would eat this up in a matter of seconds. She didn't hold back either because she wasn't watching her shape or mostly because the Luna can be a mean cook.
There were all types of food at the table and she was going to try all of them. Reaching for some fried chicken legs she started piling her plate with food and only paused when she heard someone talked beside her.
"Wow, you can eat," Draca commented.
Knowing it is Draca she didn't say anything and continue to load her plate with food before it all disappear before she could get a taste. Seeing that she isn't one for a conversation he followed her lead piling his plate as well. Satisfied with her pile Asonya started to dig into her meal. If you don't eat then you'll be too thin and she isn't watching her weight and figure.
It's a good thing werewolves have a fast metabolism rate that allows them to take in this much food. But eating and being lazy would only leave you and your wolf out of shape and could be easily taken down since you'll be too slow to fight or run to save your own life. That's why it's said that to grow a wolf you must become a wolf. The fragile state of the human body can't compromise it has to be just as strong as the wolf counterpart that's why it pushes just as hard. All must be trained to fight in both forms.
"I know I said I was excited about the upcoming ceremony but..." he paused his face leaning into his palm as his elbow rest on the table. "I'm also nervous, like what if she sees me and doesn't like me and rejects me on the spot." It happens, mate rejecting each other, not quite often though. These are all lovesick fools all of them. Asonya still hasn't heard anyone talk about the enemy that is to appear on their left wrist. Ignoring the danger, now that is what is important. Draca looked saddened by the prospect of getting rejected by the she-wolf that was destined for him.
You should be thinking about the enemy, not your mate. You must first know your enemy so you can protect the one you love especially that mate of yours that you'll be getting.
"Then she'd be a fool to reject you," Asonya answered before sinking her teeth into the fried chicken leg.
Draca was no longer leaning down with his face in the palm of his hand but was no regarding Asonya surprised that she talked to him. And to cheer him up none the less. Asonya has been giving him the silent treatment lately and he couldn't figure out why she got so closed off.
What was up with her? She isn't talking about the ceremony or anything, just staying sick. Is she nervous too.
"Don't worry Asonya I'm sure that your mate will be a great gay too," he said giving her a smile
