CHAPTER 254: The Little Girl Thief 1

Aella walked out of her room after getting dressed for the day but she was stopped when something little bumped into her. She looked down to see Luen's sister, Lucila, staring up at her with big doey eyes.

"Sorry," she mumbled under her breath.

"Where are you running off to, little doll?" Aella asked as she ruffled the girl's hair. The old dress Ralia had given her to wear wasn't one of the best but it was still much better than the sewage-stench clothes they had been in yesterday.

"T-The Baroness asked me to call you and your sister for breakfast," she murmured and Aella could see she was a little bit nervous.

Deeming it was because she was still shy talking to a stranger, Aella leaned down to her height with a kind smile on her face.

"You should be more careful when running down the hallways. You do not want to get hurt, do you?" she said and the little girl shook her head.
