1 The beginning

My name is David Mercer. I was one of the top business men as well as an excellent Scientist. However, I came from a poor background, my mother walked out on us and my dad was drunk old fool who would squander or money just to buy booze. I was determined to become something more. I was a great student with a 4.0 GPA and eventually I got into a good college. I had no love for my father and eventually had enough of him and killed him and sold his organs in the black market. I felt happy at watching the life leave his eyes as most of the times he would verbally abuse me saying I was the reason my mother left. I never knew my mother and all I know is that she was very beautiful woman and my father fell in love with her in first sight, He described her as an angel from heaven looking for love. As for why she it may of had something to do with me as my father would constantly say I was the reason why she left or she got sick and tired of my deadbeat father who I killed.

I then graduated with a PHD ins Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as Mathematics and Business, There I began my journey into the world of business where I made many allies and enemies who I soon got rid of. The company I owned was very scientific and the workers believed I wanted to advance the human race and create a world with no disease and death. Well they are right but mainly I wish to advance myself and because of my desires, I conducted several experimentations on humans that led to them either dying or becoming abominations. After many years I finally made a breakthrough with my experiments and made an serum capable of strengthening my cells and immune system. However, it was incomplete and before I had any time to perfect it, one of my Chairmans betrayed me and leaked the information about my experiments. So I ordered the deaths of his family and made him watch as one my one his family members where slowly killed and when he looked at me all I saw was burning hatred to which I responded by simply smirking and slitting his throat.

Now back to the present, I am now in my underground bunker while the military is trying get me out. I then with great reluctance injected the incomplete serum and soon I was filled with pain as my bones were breaking and was being remade and then I blacked out.

Random soldier POV

Finally we broke through that damned door, now we can finally bring that Mercer bastard to justice. It sickens me that a human being like him exists. Advancing the human race my ass the only thing he wanted to advance was himself.

I said with an angry tone "Mercer your surrounded! come up with your hands up!" There was no response. Slowly me and my team heard a growl from the top and what we saw horrified us. It was a tall humanoid with red eyes and teeth as sharp as knives with sharp bones coming out of his body but they looked like armour. I then regained my composure and said in a frantic tone "O-OPEN fire" then we began to light him up but his bone like armour was defending him. Slowly he got down from the ceiling and attacked us. He was so fast and killed my all my team members and then I was the only one left. The monster than looked at me and simply scratched me. This scratch was painful and it was doing something to me. I looked at the monsters face and saw a skull. Then I passed out.

POV END

The arrest of David Mercer failed and lead to the deaths of several soldiers with some becoming mindless monsters. It was then revealed that Mercer was the one who turned them into these monsters and was one himself. The virus that turned people into these infected abominations of nature slowly started to spread and the UN had no choice but to use nuclear bombs. Which lead to the deaths of the infected, innocent civilians and David Mercer himself. The people were upset at such a sacrifice but was glad Mercer was finally dead. However, they had no idea that David Mercer will become something greater and more powerful then the mindless monster he became.
