20 Chapter Twenty: Fight

"What the hell did you say?" Damien asked for a third time.

He had heard perfectly fine, but he was waiting for Camo to deny it, to put the brat in his place, but she did nothing except stare off as she tried to recover from her severe hangover.

"You heard me." Niyol said, anger from both Damien's tone and the damned headache. "She. Is. Mine."

In a rage, Damien grabbed the kid's collar and lifted him as he stood up. Niyol, being about five inches shorter than Damien, dangled above the ground.

"You little-" Damien began.

Niyol said nothing, rage evident on his face. he kicked out at Damien, connecting with his leg. Damien grunted but ignored it for the most part, he had been hit with worse from Camo when they sparred.

"Let go of me you asshole!" Niyol yelled.

Niyol hit Damien in the side of the head. Stars danced before Damien's eyes and he dropped Niyol. Niyol brushed himself off, but was knocked off his feet by a punch from Damien.

With Niyol stunned, Damien turned and looked at Camo.

"Camo. What the hell happened last night? Where were you? And what the hell is this kid talking about?" Damien questioned.

"Stuff." Camo replied, her headache quickly subsiding.

Damn this stuff works fast.

"What type of stuff?" Damien asked her, taking a step forwards.

"My business." Camo said, glaring at Damien. "Leave me alone."

"What's so wrong with me wanting to know? I suddenly can't worry about my partner anymore?" Damien asked, his voice rising in frustration.

"Not when it's my personal business!" Camo yelled right back.

Damien took a breath to reply, but the hurtling form of Niyol tackled him to the ground. The two boys went tumbling out of the tent, arms flying. They rolled around the ground outside, their scrapple getting the attention of the other natives.

Camo sighed, a growl in the back of her throat. She walked outside and was met by the noise of the two fighting boys.

Damien would be pinning Niyol, throwing punches left and right, then the next minute it would be Niyol pinning Damien. The boys continued like this for a few moments before Camo grew tired of it. Damien was on top and she reached down and dragged Damien off of Niyol. The five foot nothing girl lifted him and pinning him to a pole an inch off the ground.

Damien was breathing hard, blood splattered his face, bruises beginning to form. Damien's anger melted to a slight fear. He knew, hell, he had seen Camo beat guys twice her size and three times her weight. Now she was showing her strength by keeping him pinned. Her eyes were narrowed and he could practically feel the anger flowing off of her.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Camo asked, her voice low.

"Nothing. That asshole says your his." Damien said.

"She is." Niyol added.

"Like hell she is." Damien told him.

"You wanna-" Niyol was cut off.

"Shut the fuck up! Both of you!" Camo yelled, her face turning red from anger.

Damien sucked in a breath, Camo's anger nearly tangible.

"Niyol. I am Not yours. I don't belong to anyone. Say it again and I'll shut your mouth for you." Camo threatened, glareing at Niyol.

He took a couple of steps back, well out of her reach.

"Damien. So what if I spent the night with him? What the hell is wrong with that?" She asked, letting him go.

She was suddenly very tired. Tired of guys and of fighting. She took a few steps back then turned and began to walk away.

Damien began to follow, then stopped. She needed time to cool down.

"Besides." Camo called back. "Since when have you cared who I hook up with? It's not like Jason is still here. And I sure as hell don't have anyone."
