Azure droplets from the sky poured down heavily on Luke's fur but he didn't care, now that he was officially exiled from his family, he didn't need to keep that neat look with his fur anymore. Deemed as the trash of the Veta Family he was bullied by everyone, his sibling and even at one point his parents. No one cared for him there and the feeling he got from being there was an unspeakable sadness, but now he was free. Free from the constraints of his family, he was free from the bullying that he suffered every day.
Suddenly, he felt a strong pulling sensation from somewhere in front him. Something that he hadn't felt before ever since he came into this world. A warm comfortable feeling was getting stronger as he walked in the direction where it came from. Soon, he entered a cave that seemed extremely strange as it seemed to be carved artificially by 'something.' However, that warm feeling became greater as he walked further and further into the cave. Soon, he couldn't see anything in front of him, but his feet seemed to just be drawn to the aura that the 'thing' was releasing.
At the end of the passage he saw a metallic, golden cube floating in mid-air, and as if his body couldn't help it, his paws just suddenly reached and grabbed the cube. WOOOOOOOOOSH! His eyes were suddenly blinded by a flash of light as he disappeared from his world in a flash of light.
Luke slowly opened his eyes as he released he was floating around in empty space.

"What's going on..."
<Ding> As a reward for being one of the first 10 to activate the beast god's inheritance, you will receive a reward of 2 innate abilities being bestowed on you. Would you like to use it now?
"Wait, isn't this like one of those novels I used to read on earth where you get a overpowered system." Suddenly, Luke's human instincts came in as he realised this beared an awful amount of similarity to the novels he used to read, as a poor person those novels were the thing that fuelled his imagination and made him want to continue to live.
"Use now huh, well I don't see anything bad about using it so let's do it."
<Ding> System rolling for innate abilities. Devour has been acquired. Alpha has been acquired.
Devour
Can absorb the prey's bloodline and absorb a fraction of their attributes, fraction increases as level of devour goes up. By using the other's bloodline, you can evolve your own however you will always stay in the form of the first form you chose.
Alpha
Gives you more likely hood of attracting a group and followers and increases strength of your group. This leads to an increased loyalty from your group or followers. Strength bonus given by Alpha goes up as Alpha levels up.
"Alpha and Devour, huh pretty neat abilities for me to use in this new world." Luke hated the feeling of being bullied so this time he swore to be able to become powerful enough so no one could do anything to him.
<Ding> Introduction has been given to host would you like to descend now?
"System, do I get to keep you when I do descend?"
<Ding> Yes but my functions will be slowly unravelled as you progress
"Also, why did you say first 10, who are the others?"
<Ding> Information is classified, however there are 100 inheritors selected for the beast god's inheritance form over 100000 different worlds, to come to the Altaron Continent.
<Ding> Would you like to descend?
"Yes."
WOOOOOSH!
Luke's eyes were blinded by another flash of light, but it wasn't as bad as the last time he was transported into the world of Altaron. As Luke slowly opened his eyes again he realised he was floating above a grassy meadow.
<Ding> Host is in danger, soul form can only last another 10 minutes.
<Ding> Host must find a target for absorption to be the new body.
"Wait what, I can't die yet… System where do I find this new body?"
<Ding> Host may find any creature as his new body, this is the only time the system will help with absorption.
"Alright, keep calm I can do this slowly." Luke muttered to himself as he looked around him to see if there were any things he could chooses as his new body. This was when he realized he was in a grassy meadow. He could see bugs and small creatures all over the place but none of them satisfied him as he realized that the system had told him that the first form he chose would be his main body structure for the rest of his life. Just as he decided on a small lizard, he saw an injured wolf limping out of the forest with blood trailing behind him.
"Haha, my luck is really good today, I actually found something that has synergy with me in a time like this."
"System I choose this as my main form." He thought in his head as he flew towards the wolf.
<Ding> System's absorption function is activating, host please prepare.
"Ahhhhhh." Luke suddenly felt his body being squeezed inside of the body of the wolf as he forcibly merged with the wolf. Suddenly, all the pain went away as he realized that he was actually inside of the wolves body.
"Hmmm, according to what normal systems back in the novels I read had, it should be able to ask for my stats and it should have like a game like interface? So, status?" Luke whispered quietly as he felt unsure about what would happen.
