120 The Space Fortress

In a beautiful green valley of forest that was surrounded by thousands of mountain peak, a handsome young man stood on top of a black spear gliding in the air as he rapidly made his way toward a floating mansion.

The young man surfed on a trail of lightning that came from the tip of his spear and scared every living creatures below him with the loud noises caused by the wind friction.

"Prince Kang is back!"

The enormous gate of the mansion was the size of two mountain slowly opened outwards, allowing the prince to land on the long red carpet inside the floating palace.

"Father, I returned as soon I saw it."

The prince cupped his fist infront of the middle-aged man who wore a long golden robe that spread out on the floor around him.

"Very good my son, as expected from the ThunderCloud Sutra successor, you are the first to arrive."

The father nodded at him, allowing him to stand beside him in the main hall that was filled with guards that all wore a long black cape over their thick shoulder plates armors.

More and more people arrived at the mansion that was accompanied by a shout shortly after the prince.

Each of them had a spear in their hand just like everyone else in the mansion hall and merged into the crowd after greeting the golden man.

"Father, I am sorry! I was-"

"It's fine son, I know that you have been exploring the depth of the sea, so it is understandable."

The second and last son stood on the other side of his father as he gazed nervously at everyone else in the hall.

While the first prince had a mature look with his long black hair, the second prince was more on the young side with his childish aura and short height that did not match with his long blue spear on his back.

"Now that everyone is here, I would like to gather everything that we know about it, anything helpful will be counted as a contribution point!"

The soldiers who all wore the same thing remained silent while the crowd of distinguished experts who all had different looks was discussing amongst themselves before answering the golden robed man.

"Spear king, I think we can come to an agreement that it appeared with space magic."

A woman who took a step forward caused an uproar amongst the cultivators that were either a sect master, elder or a lone expert.

"That is impossible, something that big would have caused our entire realm to rupture if it used a space-related art!"

An old man with a grey scholar uniform took a step forward as he disagrees with the woman.

"I believe that it used an invisibility art and slowly made its way toward our realm!"

"So do I, I think that they weren't confident enough if they had to be sneaky like that!"

The cultivators began to take over the hall with their loud voice as they debated their theory in front of the supreme expert of their continent, the golden Spear King.

The second prince took a deep breath while the first one just shook his head as he watches the messy scene in front of him.

"I heard everyone, I believe that we should wait and see, if they are enemies, then we will fight back, and if they are not then we shall not provoke them!"

The voice of the Spear King shook the entire hall as he came to a decision and made his way towards the gates.

The princes followed right behind him, and the cultivators who were confused at first started to tag along Spear King who walked out of the gates.

The golden man stood in mid-air, more precisely, he stood on an invisible platform that was a fragment of the mansion's original stone staircase that broke a long times ago.

Supported by the mirage of the past, the entire crowd gazed at the giant black object outside of their atmosphere.

The object was tall as a mountain and stretched out so far that they could barely see the end of it.

"Father... If it's an enemy... Will we survive?"

The second prince quietly whispered to his father as he started to feel uneasy the more he stared at it.

"It does not matter as long we fight and maintain our pride."

The cultivators looked at each other, some of them were friends, some were brothers, they all nodded in agreement as their resolute gaze ignited the spark in their soul.

But what they not know was the object behind the mysterious floating fortress that was ten times bigger than the fort itself.
