113 The Show

The light generals and the princess were gathered inside of Bai Cai's room after she urged them to see her new discoveries

"Bai Cai, it better be a-."

"Shush! It's starting"

The girl in her blue pajamas ran toward the sofa and sat beside Bai Fen who kept complaining ever since Bai Cai burst into a room and woke her up with a shout in the ears.

The black monitor on the wall, which everyone thought was a blank canvas turned up as the light filled the screen.

Series of moving images flashed on the tv while the sound of the music came from every corner of the room.

"Wha-."

Bai Fen mouth was covered by the palm of her friend who sat right beside.

"⟟⏁'⌇ ⋔⍜⍀⌿⊑⟟⋏☌ ⏁⟟⋔⟒⌇!!!"

The man with a short-sleeved jacket in the tv shouted before he pulled up his watch and transformed into a red suit with a round helmet before fighting a bunch of human-sized bugs.

His human friends who were behind him also did the same thing, and all of them transformed into a similar suit with each unique colors.

"Red, yellow, blue...See it's almost like us!"

"Bai Cai, they are wearing rubber armor..."

Bai Fen moved the palm away before sighing and looked around the room to only find out that she was the only one who wasn't paying attention to the tv show.

While the princess seemed to be curious, Hou Li and Bai Cai eyes sparkled like stars as they held their fist in front of their chest.

Each and every room came with a big bed, a tv and 3 couch that was enough for 9 people to sit on and Bai Cai was the only one who touched everything out of curiosity.

"It's already over?..."

"Yeah..."

Bai Cai sounded downcasted when she replied to Hou Li who suddenly felt a sense of excitement as he thought about the giant robots battle in the last scene.

"What do you think princess?"

Bai Fen switched her attention to the princess, ignoring the two slobs alone as she was curious about how the scenes were captured.

"We wonder... How did they jump to a specific scene."

"Indeed, all of our recording gem or talisman cannot do that."

Bai Fen did not think much about the show at first until it started to build up a storyline like a book and she was now curious if the battles actually took place.

"No matter, we can always ask Nodus."

The princess shook her head and left the room with the 3 generals.

"When the big metal beast fused together!"

"I know! And also the weird sounds that sounded like music fit the battles perfectly, the music practitioners were amazing not to get caught by those bugs."

"Maybe they were strengthening their comrades with a music technique."

Bai Fen would have plugged her ears with her fingers if it wasn't for the fact that she was in the presence of the princess.

'Those two idiots...'

The princess chuckled until she noticed the empty halls and with a shocked expression, she turned around and looked at the generals.

"What's wrong princess!?"

The generals felt a drop of sweat running down their spine after seeing the looks on the princess.

"Meng Chang is missing!"

"Oh no! We must find her before she breaks something!"

The princess and her loyal generals panicked as they pictured the magnificent villa crumbling down from a missing bolt that was pulled out by the curious blacksmith.

In the meanwhile, Meng Chang and Lingxi were touching the air on the roof as they tried to study the shape of the object that was in front of them.

In the guild district, a huge crowd surrounded the smooth carriage that was parked on the side of the shop that attracted people whenever they went past it.

"This is a carriage?"

"Yeah, I heard that some people came out from it."

"Look! A new item?"

While a couple of merchants and rich folks were discussing the car, an adventurer saw the black canvas on the window filled with words.

"He is right! Look!"

The crowd squinted their eyes to read the name of the new item that would be put up for sale in half an hour.

"Never get lost, with our da...ta map?"

"I think it's data map, where do get your pause from?"

Other than the orange bubble that had *New* written in it, the tv displayed a simple shape that was round on the top but flat on the bottom, almost just like a pen.
