124 The Hired Kana

Kana introduced everyone to him and only then did they realized that the old chief was drunk by the fish soup.

"What? A store, sure go and build anywhere you want!"

The old chief became more talkative as he tumbled side to side.

"Sorry about that... But the matter is resolved since the chief never go back on his words."

Kana gave a bright smile at Nodus even though she was so nervous before dinner.

"Little lad... Since you are so blue, I will call you blueberry, listen to me blueberry... I once caught a dragon fin with my hooking skill and sold it for hundred thousands of gold and spent it all on the village..."

While the old drunken chief was reciting his stories to the little girls, Nodus, Kana, and Helena left the house as they were curious about what the young man wanted to do.

"Teacher, are you going to choose the land now or..."

"I am going to inspect the edge to choose the suitable option."

Kana was confused as she looked at Helena who merely shook her shoulders.

The young man took a step forward and suddenly stopped after he realized that the girls were following him.

He turned around and cast his qi around the two girls before flying toward the sky.

Shocked, the two girls levitated upward and soared right behind the young man as they screamed with fright and amusement.

"What was that?"

"I don't know..."

The elderly and children looked toward the sky and couldn't see anything because of the sun straight above them.

Landing on the east side of the village, Nodus inspected the ground and the tree-house that was decorated with vines and moss.

"Huff...Tha-... That is where the herbalist, granny Gugu...-"

Kana came right behind him and sounded like she was out of breath because she shouted in fright during the entire flight.

"Wahh! Teacher, you can fly!"

Helena gaze beamed with awe as she stared at the young man's back since everyone who studied even a tiny bit would know the legends of the supreme experts.

Helena was a genius herself, she wasn't even 20 yet and became an early advance magician because of her talents and the rich environment when she grew up around her wealthy family.

Even though she was higher than her peers in terms of ranking, Helena would still lose against a peak enlightened magician as she solely focused on the rigorous art of magic-crafts.

"Mhmm, calm."

Nodus patted her head before walking around the place with a hologram scanner on his wristwatch.

Helena happily followed along without realizing that Nodus sneakily levitated a little bit to make up for the height difference before patting her because she was looking forward to flying in the sky again after this was over.

Kana caught up after calming down from the flight and directly focused her attention on the young man's expression.

After flying to four other different spots, Nodus closed his hologram scanner and told Bu One to prepare the materials.

"Helena."

"Yes, teacher?!"

"I have a task for you."

"I won't disappoint you, teacher!"

Nodus nodded with a smile as he was happy that she did not ask any questions.

'Maybe I should think about teaching her seriously.'

'If I can stack up enough rewards, I could ask teacher to...'

While her head was filled with stuff, Kana took the opportunity and asked Nodus where would he build the new store.

"Mhmm, I have it built here."

Kana was surprised at first and thanked the young man as she thought that he probably chose this spot because it was close to her house.

"No, it will be easier to build a road on this side of the village, and I planned on making a house for you."

Kana did not want to bother the young man any further, and when she thought of the beautiful room above the Proxi store, she couldn't help, but you want it like that for the sake of her younger sister.

'Maybe I could hire a teacher to teach the children...'

"It's the benefit for working under my name."

Kana revealed a serene smile as she decided to go along his every decision.
