107 The Couple In The Storm

In the middle of the snowstorm, a ball of red light could be seen streaking across the snow as it left behind a puddle of water that quickly froze up due to the cold temperature.

Naire was carrying his wife as he dashed through the blizzard, leaving a trail of ice behind him and suddenly, the pair noticed a high-speed object approaching them.

"Dear... What is that?"

"I don't know honey... Stay behind me."

Lati went down from his embrace and stood behind her husband as his aura expanded, covering both of them with a warm, soothing temperature that melted the snow on touch.

"Aunty!"

Kathrina nodded as she pressed onto a button that was on the left side of the steering wheel.

The interior windows, including the windshield, changed into a black color, revealing dozen of striking red silhouette around them.

"It's so useful during the storm.."

The windshield displayed a small IR icon as the girls saw two people standing in front of them with the help of the infrared visions.

Naire noticed the vehicle slowing down as it decelerated 100 meters away.

Suddenly, the entire area turned pitch black, as if the sun disappeared from the sky.

"Dear!"

The couple looked up and saw a gigantic shadow coming down from the sky while the girls in the car panicked.

The aunty lifted the emergency break with her right hand and the wheels transformed into a propeller that quickly halted the car on the spot with the use of the gravitational force.

"Hmm...Miss Lulu should be here.."

Neve flapped his wings toward the ground, causing a massive gust of tornado wind that entirely dispersed the storm.

"There she is!"

He spotted the one and only F-1 that was parked in front of two couple.

The big ice sculpture-like dragon landed behind the car and stared at the man with the red aura in front of him.

"Oh, no.."

"How is that possible... Didn't they all leave the continent.."

Naire held tightly onto his wife's hand and was ready to bring her away any moment.

"Oh.. It's uncle Neve!"

Lulu peeked through the back window with the two other girls before opening the door.

"That's a uncle..?"

Ali, puzzled as looked at Mimi for answers.

"It's...Uncle Neve is with big brother Nodus."

Mimi did not know how to put it in words and stuttered as she answers her friend.

"Oh.. That explains it."

The girls left the car through their perspective exit and waved at the couple.

"Mom! Dad!"

Seeing their little girl running toward them without a hint of fear caused the parents to panic.

"Lu-Lulu?!"

"Be careful Lulu!"

Running past her bewildered husband, Lati dashed toward her daughter and held tightly onto her.

"Are those miss Lulu parents?"

The dragon pointed at the middle-aged with his pointy claws.

"Yes, they were on an important trip."

Kathrina answered as she looked at her sister and her brother in law with a big smile on her face.

"I see, then-."

The big dragon broke into a million shards of ice and reverted back to a small tiny lizard-sized dragon.

The spiky shards dissipated into tiny particles that went beautifully along with the blue sky as it floated away.

"Lulu.."

"Don't worry, that is uncle Neve, he has been protecting me because of... Big brother Nodus.."

Lulu felt a bit shy as she called him differently in front of her mother for the first times.

"Huhuhu, I am glad to hear that."

The mother stood up and patted the back of her daughter, pushing her toward the father.

"Go talk to your father and give him a good scolding."

"Scolding?"

While she made her way to Naire with a questioned look, her mother made her way toward Kathrina and whispered something to her sister before they both looked at Naire with their arms crossed.

"No wonder she was so worried."

"Mhmm... She must have been, all of that because of my dummy husband."

Lati mentioned to Kathrina about the incident they had that caused Naire to break the communication device they received from Nodus.

"I am sorry! I didn't know it would break!"

Naire kneeled down on the snow and shouted as he apologized to Lulu when she came in front of him.

"Father?... Could it be... The reason why you didn't reply to me.."

"Yes, my little dumpling... I am sorry, I threw it against the wall and broke it!"

Lulu squinted her eyes and pretended to be angry as she held onto her waist.

"I am sorry sweet honey, my soft, beautiful skinned daughter, please forgive me!"

Lulu chuckled by all of the nonsense that her father spouted while Kathrina became even angrier.

"How can throwing something onto the wall make it work?!"

Kathrina puffed her cheeks while the girls ran back toward the car after picking up Neve.

"Aunty Lati!"

"Look, it's uncle Neve."

While Ali wrapped her arms onto Lati, Mimi, with a big smile was pointing at Neve who was on her shoulder.
