118 Kana's Return

Nodus and Helena could hear some footsteps coming from the side of the villa.

"I think it went this way!"

One of the young guard under Mr. Tim arrived at the back of the villa and could only see two people standing beside each other.

"Ah! It's mister Nodus, how do you do."

Mr. Tim did a formal greeting as soon he arrived beside his fellow soldier and slapped him on the back of his head.

"Lami, where are your manners!?"

"Greeting mister Nodus and thank you for saving us!"

Nodus nodded slightly and told them to let it go as it was just something anyone should do.

"What is wrong Mr.Tim?"

Ivy ran out of the villa after the commotion by the bird that caused the guards to shout and run around while waving their sword in the air.

"Young miss! I am deeply sorry for this...-"

Mr. Tim bowed down repeatedly as he felt guilty for worrying the precious employer that was like a daughter to him.

"It's fine Mr. Tim you don't have to apologize, it is my fault for being overly worri-Nodus!"

Without any hesitation, Ivy ran toward Nodus and held his head to her bosom.

"Ahhh...Nodus I missed you so much, you and your soft hair."

The young girl was rubbing her cheeks on top of his head in a rotation.

Helena pouted and stomped her feet on the grass, causing Ivy to look at her direction.

Ivy reluctantly stood up and held out her hand.

The two girls held each other hands tightly and shot some imaginary sparks from their eyes as they gazed at each other into the depth of their window soul.

A minute has passed, the two girls were still shaking their hands with trembling arms until Lulu, and her parents arrived at the backyard.

"Sister Ivy? Aunty is awake now, and she is at the dining table."

Ivy forced Mr. Tim and the guards into the house this times, saying that it was an urgent matter that involved their safety.

Mr. Tim and the guards couldn't help but to rub their eyes with their arms as they held their tears back.

Naire was scratching his head while his wife and daughter were already in front of Nodus as they wanted to discuss something with the young man.

Lati told Nodus about the carriage and gave a staring glare at her husband before telling him that they would be leaving in less than a month to the kingdom.

Lati stretched her word as she looked at her daughter.

"Mom, I am coming with you this times!"

Lulu had a feeling that her parents did not want her to be involved in the upcoming mess.

The mother sighed as she already knew that her daughter would have refuted her, but at least, she tried.

After a pause to glance at the middle-aged man in the back, Nodus resumed his thoughts and suggested the mother that he wanted to go to the kingdom.

"Then a week after, I will bring Lulu along."

Lulu looked at Nodus with teary eyes before she gave up and went along with his suggestions that made much more sense.

She did not want to be a burden to her parents as she was their only weakness.

"I will stay with big brother, but you must promise to reply to my communication."

Lulu then squinted her eyes at her father before whispering something to the young man.

Naire pretended not to notice anything as he stared at the bright sun.

The siblings both wore a long brown robe with a pair of sandal.

Arna pointed at the bright purple sign but was interrupted by the tall man in a suit that stood in front of her.

The young girl was frightened by Bu One after turning her head around and ran to her older sister.

Kana let go of the ropes and greeted Bu One with a bow.
