70 Joyful Lake
As Ry'ia and Shishi arrived after Nodus , they noticed the young man staring intensely at the dark sky.
"We are leaving now , Shishi are you staying?" As his tribe followed behind the thunder tribe , Khaarin wasn't sure if it was a good idea for Shishi to stay in this realm.
"Go and find Lulu , after finding the herb , lead her to the top of the mountain." Shishi nodded and hopped onto the chimera's back.
"Please take care young hero." Khaarin gave a deep nod before he turned around and followed the rest of his tribe.
"Don't worry boss , I will even get some tasty food for sister Lulu!" The cub waved it's front paw as it slowly faded away into the lowered clouds.
"Nodus?" Ry'ia wanted to stay around and discover the mysterious world with Nodus.
"This world , is very small." Ry'ia tilted her head and simply nodded in confusion.
"Let's go." The young man and Ry'ia slowly made their way toward the pack of hills that were on the horizon of the clouds.
Meanwhile , In a tall five story palace that was built on a high stone platform that was surrounded by houses that were connected with stone walls.
"The Approach is too dangerous to continue , I say we should send our elite disciples to investigate those weird creatures!!"
"Our disciples came back injured while the guest who remained at the back were unhurt."
Two old man who stood across a huge carpet inside of a throne room were arguing with each other while a crowned woman who sat on the high seat listened to their conversations.
The old man who stood in front of his disciple who was covered with a small stain of blood looked at the other old elder with a furious expression. 'We protected them and yet they want to take over this year Approach!'

While the northern side of the planet was bigger , many of the occupants decided to live there and crossed over from the southern side whenever the Approach happened.
As the planet goes around the three suns in cycle , the gravity would weakened with it got further from the suns , causing the two huge landmass to get closer to the core and thus , they called it the Approach.
When the two lands were separated , it would be at least hundreds of thousand miles apart but when the Approach cycle arrived , it would be as close as hundreds of miles , making it possible for a small rope bridge to be built on both sides.
After thousands of years went by , everyone from the southern desert side finally managed to completely settle down in the rich side of the planet , leaving the south voided with living beings.
After millions of years went by , people noticed that the desert actually gathered pure essence of the laws as the land remained untainted by humans for many years and so , mystical herbs , plants or even treasures were born.
With the cycle of the Approach happening once every ten years , dozen of strong sects would send their disciples to the biggest capital city of the planet , the Joyful Lake city that built an expensive bridge array to allow people to easily cross over to the south landmass.
The Joyful Lake was founded by an immortal progenitor who was called Prime Lotus during her era , she was born as a normal villager but due to some fate , she met a female scholar who guided her about the laws of life.
The scholar turned out to be an immortal cultivator from another planet who came to explore the mortal world for a aspiration in her dao.
The hardworking village girl eventually unleashed her bloodline potential was involved with nature dao of life.
With her Evermore Wood bloodline , she became the 4th treant that ever existed in the entire world ever since it was birthed in the ancient era.

After a thousand years went by , Prime Lotus finally managed to finish the city that was created by her dao , making it dependent only to itself and not even to the planet.
Although she didn't mention it to anyone but her adopted daughter , the city was meant as a last resort for the survival of humanity. With those words imprinted in mind , her daughter barely took a step out of the city and cultivated diligently with the her of her adoptive mother.
As times went by , the 6th generation of the daughter decided to build a big harbor for ships then later on opened the city for the public.
Being one of the most busy city in sea trading , plenty of people decided to move over as they couldn't get over the beautiful land and shapes of the huge tree trunks that surrounded the entire island like a barricade.
With the land getting more lively , a council was founded by the descendants of the adopted daughter and with many resource and wealth thanks to the harbor , they even founded a sect later on.
The sect became one of the top ten in the world and Joyful Lake was nominated as the capital city since it was the only intact one after the destruction of the planet by the foreign war.
With the years that went by , Joyful Sect gathered many mysterious materials and built a array formation on the southern land that could shoot a ray of light to form a solid platform.
With the 72th Ruler of Joyful Lake on the throne , she gazed down at the group of elders that represented their sect , the news of the mysterious creatures that injured the disciples caused the Joyful sect to take a hit as they were the one responsible for the Approach by taking the lead they had many years ago.
Although many sect weren't happy about Joyful sect for leading the Approach every times , they still didn't word it out because not only it's a powerful sect , it also had close allies in the main lands.
Seeing that the selfish elder trying to make them lose face and gather more support to bring them down , the Joyful sect representative couldn't help but shout in anger.
"Enough , everyone shall choose ten disciples and send them to the southern land tomorrow." Even though she was the leader of her sect , she still had to maintain the image of fairness or else she would give a reason for the other sect to gang on her and her people.
With 12 sects in the Joyful Lake city , the town was bustled with noise as the crowd of disciples enjoyed everything that the capital city had to offer.
"I heard that senior Gil got seriously wounded by protecting the River Mirror sect.."

A couple of disciple who wore the same blue uniform were shouting in anger as they discussed about the incident that happened within the first batch of the Approach.

Everyone knew that most of the sect truly cared only for their own so plenty of them didn't really get along when they met each other and that is one of the reasons why Joyful Lake is still existing.
If all the sect got together to fight the Joyful sect , the lose would be more than the gain so no one bothered to ally with each other , even the strongest sect , the World Star sect didn't even dare to antagonize the ruler of Joyful Lake as she was one of the strongest expert that cultivated the same techniques of Prime Lotus.
