14 Ice Wall

Nodus who was quietly sitting with his eyes shut , felt a slight vibration from his watch. "Beep , Dense source of energy detected." He opened his eyes and stood up immediately. " Stop the horses." Said loudly Nodus as he slides the door open and left the carriage. After closing the door , he looked toward a direction and then told Z1 to scan the area. Not my problem . Glancing through the hologram , he jumped on Sasha and they ran off the sky.

"Well.. he is gone now.. Should we set up right here?" Said the husband as he felt the magical beast presence vanish. "Turn the horses a little bit first than I will go set up a barricade." As Lati left the front room , she was questioned by her daughter if it was lunch times." Soon dear , I will set up a ice wall and we can each lunch." Said the mother as she pat the two little girls head and left the carriage. The blue haired woman lifted her arms and cast a spell , with two magic graph , she simultaneously spray out a wave of freezing water around the carriage . With the water freezing on contact , ice began to stack up and in the end she created a tall wall of ice . Leaving a gap that acted as a entrance , ceiling uncovered as the wind was pushing the snow side ways and as she was finish with her task , she felt a presence and turned around toward the entrance.

"A water mage..." Without a doubt , the purple haired knew that these people were different and with just one carriage , she was sure that they weren't her enemies. As she fought with the storm and approaches the ice walls , she saw a beautiful goddess looking at her. With her knees on the floor , she begged the woman to help , or at least her sister as she lifted her arms higher.

Lati ran toward the young woman and upon noticing their collars , she crouched down and held them without any hesitation. "Don't worry...You are safe with me." The elder sister shed tears when she heard the soothing voice of the goddess. "Thank you ... thank you.." Said Lili as she cried in the blue haired woman arms. " You must be hungry.." Said Lati as she helped the purple lady up and led her toward the carriage. Before she could slide the door open , Naire appeared as he slid it open and saw the two new faces. Upon seeing Naire , Lili was afraid and hid behind the blue haired woman. "Naire , stop scaring the lady." looking at their ears and collar , he understood and returned to the front room. " I prepared lunch by the way!" A slave trader in the north... and dark elves no less.. Naire felt into deep thought as he waited for his wife.

The two little girls noticed two strangers the followed Lati as they both entered the carriage. " Here , the room is over here , you can lay her down and let her have a good rest." Said Lati as she led the siblings into the back of the carriage where the two beds were. After coming out from the back room , Lati told Lili that she could sit down . "Hello..My name is Lili , I am from Brownar village , close to the Azael kingdom." Lili introduced herself and her sister to the girls while Lati pulled down a wooden board from the wall and it stopped at a 90 degree angle , forming a perfect platform in front of the seats. Lati left to the front room to get the food from Naire while the two little girl who sat on the opposite seats went up to Lili . "Woah big sister.. your so pretty..Ah , my name is Ali , nice to meet you and this is Shishi!" Said Ali as she looked at the beautiful elf while pointing at the sleeping leopard beside her , Lili had long ears that grew a little bit side ways , a caramel skin tone and a youthful face even underneath her ragged clothes , one could see how well the dark elf was developed , with big breast , tiny waist and wide hips that defined her heart shape butt.

Lili blushed from the praise and smiled toward the cute little girl in brown."Nice to meet you miss Ali and.." Turning her gaze toward the other young lady who has a strong resemblance to the blue goddess. "Ah I am sorry! It's so rare to see a dark elf around here.. and my name is Luru , may I sit beside you?" Said Luru who was thinking about the siblings situation. The elf nodded and seeing that Ali wanted to sit beside too , she stood up and let Ali in while she sat in between the two little girls. "Big sister is a elf??? Oh! That's why your are so pretty ! And your ears are so pointy ! " Looking at the silly girl , Lili laughed as she resembled her younger sister in that way , patting the immature girl , Luru chuckled quietly as she was just explaining about all the difference races she would meet in big cities and kingdoms. Although Ali is a slow and immature young girl , she was also really honest and caring , which make her a really good friend for Luru. While the two little girls was beside her , she glanced at the cub with sparkly eyes. No.. must not look.. too cute..

As Lati slid the front door open , she saw the 3 young girls happily talking to each other , with a relief puff of air , she brought the warm food onto the table . The table was filled with a big bowl of soup , rice and vegetable. With their own little bowl , the girls were just scooping their own food from each big bowls and seeing that Lili was a little bit shy and reserved , Luru did not hesitate to load the elf bowl with food. Copying Luru , Ali also did the same and touched by their kindness , Lili shed tears and thanked them as she eat the food gracefully. Lati smiled and walked toward the back room. " Don't worry , I will take care of your little sister." Said Lati as she left without eating. Lili was hesitant as she did not want to bother them anymore. "Don't worry , my mom knows healing magic and she is really strong!" Noticing her worries , Luru reassured the purple haired lady. As they talk around the table , seeing that Lili did not mind being addressed as sister , Luru also began to call her that and Lili felt more comfortable with them as she began to eat more and more.

Ali asked if Lili could tell more about the Azael and with blissful expression , she began the story of the most heavenly place , founded by the ancient high elves.

"Sasha , crush that snow hill." As Sasha was running through the stormy skies , Nodus who was perfectly clean without a single snowflakes on his uniform. Sasha dove into the hill as she claw shun in blue , with a slam , wind of impact blew the snow away and revealed a layer of transparent clear ice. With 3 more claw strikes on the ice glass , the ice finally felt apart and Nodus jumped straight into the hole. "You can return back , take care of them." Said Nodus as he went deeper into the hole. The white leopard was a little bit hesitant to leave him here but remembering how strong the young man was , she quickly flew back to Shishi and the rest.

"Z1 Turn off radar." While being on a trip , Nodus thought it would be a good idea to keep on a low frequency radar as they traveled through the lands , just incase it found something worth his times. Within the dark tunnel , Nodus easily made his way down without slipping on the ice surface . The cave looked like it was dug by a gigantic pressurized water , the tunnel was bumpy on all side and it the surface looked smooth as butter. After a while in the dark tunnel that was sinking deeper into the ground , Nodus saw a bright light by the end of the hole. This is where the big node was roaming around. Without looking at his map , Nodus walked through the hole as he took off his helmet and ended up in a enormous open space. The area was like a stadium , with ice spikes dripping down from the ceiling , looking for the source of light , he found out that underneath the clear ice floor , was a layer of water. Water with light particles? Interesting.

The closer he was toward the center , he noticed more and more bones that was trashed around everywhere. That something fishes for food underneath this place..It means the body of water is bigger than I thought. "Z1 , Scan , 1 km straight down." The map revealed more tiny energy nodes and most of them were moving. " 2 km straight down. " Without reaching the bottom of the water , he decided to re scan again. After consuming 7% with the scanner , he was sure that the depth was at least 5km or more. Although he did satisfy his curiosity , he found many energy sources within the water.

Noticing a presence , the ground slightly shook and suddenly , a pillar of water shot out at the edge of the giant cave. It's here. Without any delay , Nodus rushed to the pillar , as he quickly arrived at the scene , he noticed a the back of a big lizard that was coming out through the gap on the floor. The lizard was completely blue , the back had many icy spikes , long smooth tail with a pointy sharp end and the most captivating part of the body was the wings , it looked like it was a broken piece of glass with more than half of the wings missing. The lizard noticed the tiny human a long times ago and just pretended that it didn't see anything. After releasing the big fish from his mouth , the lizard suddenly swung it's tail at lightning speed , Nodus was sent crashing into a random ice pillar.

"Hmmp , disturbing this mighty dragon meal and intruding into my territory means death." Said the lizard with a deep male voice as he turns his focus onto the food
