As the explosion from the space subsided , the Herox still kept going even thought they did not know what had happened to their friends who were ahead of them.

"The orders of absolute! Fighter squads , surround the carriers!"

Not a single pilot refuted the orders as they neatly arranged themselves in a formation that covered the entire spacecraft carriers.

"*Gulp*..They are still coming!"

"Can we survive this times...?"

Most of the cultivators stood on a lizard like beast that was swimming on the water surface as they stared at the enormous spaceships of the enemy.

*Slam!*

The other sect masters slammed the door open as they stepped into the chamber of Vaneria.

"Vaneria , what was that? Can you do it again?"

After the sudden explosion , the sect masters who were on their headquarter ships met up with each other and found out that none of them were involved in that incident.

"Oh? Why do you think it's me?"

Vaneria stood behind the young man who didn't not even bother to pay attention to them.

"We know that you have a deity guardian... Why didn't you use it earlier!? Like that we wouldn't of lost so many disciples!"

The old man who had a wolf emblem on his back started to shamelessly criticize Vaneria without any proof.

"Now , now , old wolf , put your grudge aside , we have a much bigger problem that could cost our entire race."

The sect master who carried a big coral on his back stood in between them as he tries to pacify the situation.

"Hmmp , if you start to argue again then don't blame me for putting you on my bad list."

A beautiful woman who wore a long purple sleeved robe with a pair of small white bell hung on her ribbon belt spoke before walking out of the door.

Vaneria felt better after seeing that everyone was glancing at the old wolf with a meaningful look.

"I also , was not the cause of that one warship and our ancient deity has yet to act , but..-?"

Vaneria turned around as she felt like someone was pulling on her shirt.

"Nodus is gone..."

Green was distracted by the bright firework in the space before noticing a young man who flew in the skies and across her vision.

"What?!"

Vaneria felt slightly upset as she thought that they would come up with a plan together as she ran off to the balcony.

"What happened?"

"Who's that Nodus person?"

Most of the sect masters were curious and followed the shocked woman who always had a cold facial expression on her face while the coral sect master stood beside Green as he questioned the young girl.

"Uhm... Nodus is my friend that knows a lot more than us about the enemy! He also said that he would help us get rid of them in exchange..."

"In exchange of?"

The young girl remembered that Nodus already swallowed the essence of the crystal and decided to come up with something else instead.

"...In exchange that.. Someone would marry him!"

The coral sect master laughed and held onto the young girl shoulder before going to the balcony.

"Ah.. Why did I say that.."

Green knew that the most logical thing would be the deity tear offered as the reward but everyone knew by now that it has been stolen and she did not want to implicate the young man.

'If they found out then... They might hunt Nodus and secretly extract his blood!'

Unlike her sect master , Green could not feel the young man aura at all and could only see a tiny speck of light in the middle of his chest so she thought that Nodus was accompanied by many strong people from his world because it was guarded by a divine dragon in the past.

"No... Even if they don't have much energy , it's still possible for them to escape."

The young man who was covered in a white aura talked to himself out loud as he flew toward the dark space.

"But take my DeathCast and add the advance tier spells that I prepared."

Nodus dropped his magic gun behind him and shortly after descending through the sky , the magic device disappeared in mid air as if it was swallowed by the void.

With sufficient purified energy that was harvested from the crystals that fed on the core's heat power , the smart AI that his own sister implanted on the White Jade took over the ship as it flew in an alternate space right behind the young man.

"Captain! We have detected a life sign!"

One of the soldiers who sat in front of the screen stood up as he shout at the man who sat on the tallest chair.

The only difference between them other than their looks would be the white emblem marked on his silver helmet that made him stand out unlike his fellow soldiers.

"How many?.. I was told that their wooden ship were slow.."

The captain was ready to send a report through the communication channel as he thought that something was off.

"Only one.. And it's a armored person!"

The soldier waited for Nodus to get close enough before taking a picture of him.

Seeing that it was truly only one person on the main screen monitor , the captain did not want to look weak by reporting to the general about a single enemy.

"It's just a single enemy , let the ones behind us know and send in all of our fighters!"

'Only a single person , I will torture you to death for making fun of the Herox!'

The captain grinned his teeth as he watches his soldiers speeding off toward Nodus.

"Done? Just in time."

Nodus stopped flying as soon he left the atmosphere and he pulled out the DeathCast in the middle of nowhere as his arm slowly emerged back from a calm ripple in the space.
