56 Cloud Pavilion

Hearing the little fellow who was running in the backyard , Lulu and Nodus chuckled. "Shishi seems to be having lots of fun with the housekeeping tool." The C1 was playing tag with the little cub as it dodged around by centering it's gravity region. It looked like a punching bag wobbling side to side every times the cub pounced at it.

"I brought Lili and a few other here." Hearing that there would be more people living with them , the lonely little girl became even happier as she went back to her room. "I will lay around , see you soon big brother!" With school starting , Kathrina became slightly busy as she was the vice principal and had to process through a lot of applications. 'Ah! I want to see the children!' Resting her head on the desk that was surrounded by piles of paper , the teacher closed her eyes and took a short nap after working nonstop since the first night.

At the heart of Enlin city , a tall palace was situated in the middle of a 4 way road that was surrounded by countless of restaurants and inn. The palace had a cloud with a wind underneath it as a logo brand and even thought it wasn't in the merchant district , it was still filled with thousands of people during the late night. "Uncle , teacher you both look unwell.." A young woman with a short black hair approached two old men inside of the 10th floor of the palace. "I am sorry dear Helena , uncle couldn't breakthrough it even with teacher Ivan.." The white haired uncle turned around with his hands behind his back as he sighed with disappointment.

Not wanting to give up , the teach Ivan who whore a magician robe held onto a old magic scroll. "This is my last resort.. Analyze!" A white magic array appeared in front of his hand that held onto the scroll as it burn into particles. "Nothing.. How is this possible , even an supreme scroll couldn't identify it." Risking a hundred thousand gold worth of scroll showed the determination of the teacher for unlocking the secret of the unit storage.

With a pat on the shoulder , the uncle shook his head and sat down on spot. "As you can see dear , we can't find anything about this unit storage , the one who made it is probably a rank 9 or 10 magic crafter.." The girl understood the meaning , they went so far and the only information they could extract from it , the chip was something made by an expert who they couldn't afford to antagonize. "I am sorry uncle , I merely wanted to expand my knowledge.. teacher I can give you 200 000 gold.." The young girl sat beside the uncle as she pulled out a small cloth to wipe off the uncle's sweat.

"Thank you Helena but.. I did it on my own so I won't need any repayment!" Other than being a ultimate magician , the teacher was one of the highest magic crafter in this city. 'I am already a rank 6... If only I could meet that senior..' Every expert were always seeking for rare and foreign objects , that's what the teacher thought has he browsed through his ring. "It's fine! Maybe I can ask the shop owner to take me as a apprentice!" The girl also thought of the same thing as she had her family who owned one of the largest commercial brand in the entire continent , she was sure she could find something that the senior would appreciate.

"You are one of the youngest magic crafter in the continent , I am sure the senior would like you!!" The teacher thought with times , this little genius magic crafter could introduce the senior to him while the uncle sighed as he remained seated. "What's wrong uncle.. Is it a bad idea?" The old man stood up and started to walk toward the staircases as he shook his head. "You are an adult now Helena , just don't bring a disaster to the cloud pavilion." The uncle knew he couldn't stop her but still gave her a warning and went back to his home to rest.

The reasons why the cloud pavilion still existed was because they had a old supreme ancestor in seclusion and also because of their well-known reputation for being fair. They would never steal , scam or force anyone to boy and sell as they treated everyone fairly equal.

"Teacher , will you help me pick a gift?" The old man with a long black beard nodded as he followed behind the girl to the 9th floor. While browsing through the medical herbs , artifact and talisman in the 9th floor , the teacher simply couldn't hold himself back from being amazed. 'As usual.. every cloud pavilion has billions of gold worth of stuff..' Ivan was the first teacher who was hired by her parents to teach her the basics before she left and joined a crafting sect so he was pretty much trust worthy.

"What about this teacher?" The girl spun around as her long white jacket fluttered in the air. Seeing that her short skirt almost went up by the wind , the old man coughed and reprimanded the young girl. "It's not good enough and Helena , you should be more wary of your surrounding while dressed like that." Helena put down a red ginseng as she looked at her teacher with a puzzled look. "Like this?" Pinching onto her skirt , she slowly lifted up , revealing her long slender legs only to be reproached again by the teacher. "Hehehe teacher is funny!" The little disobedient girl always gave him a headache ever since she was a tiny child.

"Sigh..I give up.. What about this? I am sure the senior would love an true ancient artifact even though it's a fragment." He picked up a broken stone tablet with little symbol drawing carved on it. "But.. It has no function..Are you sure teacher?" The teacher coughed once again. "Maybe the senior could see through it and find one." Understanding what the teacher meant , even if Helena wasn't accepted as a disciple , she could still let the senior analyze it for her. 'True.. if the senior accepts it , I will become his disciple and find out about the function with nothing to lose.'

Storing the tablet away into her spatial ring , Helena invited her teacher to get breakfast but was refused. "Sorry little Helena , teacher is tired from staying up all night so I just want to sleep for now." The girl nodded and ran down the pavilion. "To the guild district!" The girl went into her private carriage that had a green tiger pulling it. "Yes young miss." The carriage slowly made it way through the city as the sun began to shine upon the walls.

In front of the wide open space , Nodus watched the android who opened dozen of storage that contained thousands of technology pieces. "I will handle the roof , after you assemble the ship just leave it here and return to the shop." The young man walked toward the gate as he decided to go to the agency in the early morning. "Oh and , give it a 1% boost of raw energy and see if that barrier blocks it from absorbing the solar particles." With his last instructions , Nodus walked down the hill from his rich and quiet neighborhood and saw a few people who were also leaving through their gates.

"You must be our new neighbor! We came yesterday but no one answered so.. Nice to meet you!" A middle aged woman with a thick layer of make up who lived straight across shouted at Nodus as she waved her hand. "Nice to meet you too , we were at school yesterday." The woman laughed and tugged a rope that went into her house. "Come Mr Pipi , it's times for a walk!" A gigantic furry bear came out from the gate and yawned as it followed the owner.

'Odd pet..' The young man learned something new everyday about the weird taste of people. 'Last times I saw a crocodile and a rainbow colored horse , now it's a polar bear looking pet?..'

By the times Nodus arrived at the agency , the main street was already filled with food stalls and item shops. "Welcome-- Ah , Mr Nodus! Are you here today to hire some servants?" Seeing the rich young man entering the building , the gentle lady who introduced Nodus to the mansion stood up and lead him to the office. "Miss Claire , I was wondering if it was possible to remove the ceiling part of the barrier." Surprised by the unexpected question , Claire asked Nodus to wait as she left to get someone who could give a better answer.

"Mr Nodus! We meet again so soon!" The middle aged supervisor who drafted the contract for Nodus was also happy to see him as he got a big bonus for his entire department for selling the most expensive mansion. "I heard from Claire and it is indeed possible , we would have to hire a rank 5 inscriptionist and it would take about a day or two.." The supervisor said that Nodus could either remove the barrier by lifting the keystone or go with the first choice.

"If I place the keystone back , it the barrier will function again?" Seeing the supervisor nodding , Nodus stood up and decided to find his own way to modify the barrier. "Thank you." The young man left the premises after giving them a couple gold coins and even though he was refused , Nodus simply left without picking it back up.

"Grrr" Turning his head around , Nodus saw a green tiger growling at him as he stood at the side of the main road. "Bad Flower! If you keep scaring people you won't get to eat today!" A girl shouted at her pet as she apologized to Nodus before telling the driver to go slower. "Elder sister is sorry , please don't be scared!" Leaning against the seat , Helena chuckled as she saw the unfazed face of the cute little child. 'I don't think the child was scared at all by Flower , I guess young children likes big kitties too!'
