72 Birthday Present

After getting bored of walking , Nodus decided to ride on the brown bear with Ry'ia until they reached the tunneled hill.

"Ry'ia , isn't it time to go home?"

Nodus looked at his watch and it was almost sun down.

"Ah! You are right! My sister will be mad if she knew I left the island without her permission.."

Cutting open the portal once again , they suddenly heard a voice from the other side of the hole. "Teacher! It's open!"

Mimi shouted at the teacher who was dipping her feet into the pool with Lulu and the rest while all the magical beast were soundly sleeping in the hill of the cliff.

"It must be Nodus!"

The girls stood up and ran toward the portal with their barefoot.

Mimi and Shishi who were originally eating the fruits beside the mountain walls arrived first.

"Boss! Did you find old green and the rest?"

Shishi jumped onto Nodus as he emerged from the portal with Ry'ia and stared at the portal.

"He ate the fruit and need some times to break through."

Shishi nodded with a puzzled expression and went toward Ry'ia.

The girls where shocked upon seeing the black and white haired girl who tried to hide behind Nodus as she was shy meeting a group of new people.

"Nodus.. We found the herb and this is..?"

Kathrina took a step forward and stared at the young girl.

"This is my teacher and.."

Ry'ia suddenly ran in front of Kathrina and held her hands right after Nodus called her teacher.

"Wow! Nodus teacher is so beautiful!"

After being amazed by the resemblance of Lulu and Kathrina , Ry'ia was also surprised when she saw the long ears of Mimi.

"I hope we can be friends!"

The girls nodded as they chuckled upon seeing the young woman being all excited.

"Is Ry'ia someone from.."

Nodus shook his head as he knew what Kathrina was going to say but Ry'ia , finished her sentences instead.

"I am from the island up there!"

Pointing at the dark clear skies , the girls were confused as they couldn't even spot anything.

"She is from the moons..?"

Kathrina whispered at Nodus as she stood beside him.

"Yes , I have to bring her home."

Although their meeting was short , Ry'ia was still relucante to part ways as she witnessed so much fun stuff today.

"I can pick you up tomorrow..?"

After convincing the childish lady , Nodus threw his car down and flew straight up toward the island.

"Wow! Did Nodus made this?.."

With her face plastered on the window , Ry'ia couldn't calm down as she told Nodus how excited she is for tomorrow.

"Yes.. yes.. Maybe bring your sister with you next times.. Like that I can show you the big cities with alot of delicious food and fruits."

Seeing Ry'ia usual respond , Nodus tried to tell her that she had to be sneaky about it or else the sister will know that she snuck out.

"You are right! Nodus is so smart and cute!"

The young girl stroked on Nodus hair until they made it half way toward the island.

"I will open the door now.."

"Mhmm... Goodbye for now!" With a kiss on his cheek , Ry'ia jumped down from the door as her back shot two pillars of light.

After the light transformed into a pair of black and white feathered wings , Ry'ia flew back up and waved at Nodus before disappearing into the dark sky.

'Even though they can fly... They must own flying vehicles..'

Nodus could tell that Ry'ia was simply surprised by the odd shape and not the fact that it could fly when he threw down F-1.

After landing back down beside the pool , the vehicle was so quiet that it didn't even alert the sleeping magical beast.

"I didn't know it could fly... But I should of expected it right.."

Staring at the wheels , Kathrina was simply confused on how the vehicle could fly without mana while Lulu and Mimi surrounded Nodus.

"Big brother Nodus , is Ry'ia really going to come back tomorrow?"

"Mhmm.. Big brother , where did you meet her?"

While Mimi was curious , Lulu couldn't help but to wonder the black and white haired girl origin.

"It is as you think , the moons."

Lulu eyes sparkled as she looked up the sky , other than her mother , she never seen such angelic woman with her distinctive purple lips. 'Are the moons people all beautiful..?'

The more she thought about it , the more she panicked for some unknown reason. 'My heart hurts a little..'

Seeing that Lulu was quietly touching her chest , Nodus approached her face and stared at her cloudy eyes.

"Are you alright Lulu?"

Waking up by his voice , Lulu noticed that his face was so close to her that she could feel his breath.

"Ah! I am fine.... Thank kkyou.."

'Kyou?'

The young girl covered her red face with her hands as she quickly turned around.

Kathrina who leaned beside the car smiled as she quietly watched the scene.

"Nodus , could you tell us about the situation now?"

The young man turned around and nodded.

With a burnt out campfire beside the vehicle , the girls were listening to his story as they ate in the car.

"A new world that has plenty of treasures and.. Another civilization.."

Kathrina was shocked as she quietly repeated those words.

"It sounds too dangerous.. Maybe we shouldn't explore it?"

Kathrina was relucant to go through any dangerous situation as promised her sister that she would take care of the children.

"Aunty... Then what should we do?"

The girls stared at Nodus who always came up with some ideas.

"I will go with the three beast and you all can show Ry'ia around the mountain , she also never seen snow."

The girls looked at the teacher and saw her in deep thoughts.

"But.. What if-"

"I will lend you F-1."

"Nodus you can't do that!"

Kathrina crossed her arms as she pouted , causing the two little girls to laugh.

"It's fine , I can always take this out."

Nodus pulled his neck sleeve and revealed the limiter that was dug into his skin.

After convincing the teacher , the group went to sleep after the found out that the seat could transform into a small bed by holding a small lever.

As the young girl quietly landed on the floating island , she slowly made her way toward the house while holding onto two fruits that she kept in her pocket.

"Hehehe...I bet sister never tasted these fruits.."

"Hmm.. Never tasted what?"

After hearing a familiar voice , Ry'ia trembled as she slowly turned around and saw her elder sister who was gently flapping her wings in the sky.

"I came home early and you disappeared so I thought you went to uncle's."

Ry'va was staring at her younger sister with a angry expression and when she saw the two strange fruits in her hands she became even more furious.

"Ry'ia! You went down didn't you!!?"

Her sister shout almost made her drop the fruits as she avoided the sharp gaze by looking down.

After seeing her younger sister crying on her knees , Ry'va couldn't hold back anymore and wrapped her arms around the young girl.

"Wahhh I am sorry sister.."

With a sigh , Ry'va gently stroked her back until she calmed down.

"Tell me.. How and why did you go down?..Your body can't.."

Ry'va swallowed back down the words as she did not want to voice out her illness.

"But you have to promise to not get mad at Nodus!"

Ry'va was surprised to see her younger sister staring at her with a stern expression.

"Who is that.. Is it a man!?"

Ry'ia chuckled after she saw her agitated sister and corrected her.

"No sister.. Nodus is just a cute little boy.. And his hair is so soft!"

Ry'va calmed down and listened to her adventurous story.

"You are going back tomorrow?... But-"

"Sister also snuck down so why can't I , hmmp!"

Regaining back her little courage , Ry'ia didn't hesitate to point out her elder's secret.

"What.. How did you know.."

Ry'va blushed slightly as she poked her fingers.

"I went to uncle and asked him if sister was in the kingdom!"

Ry'va pouted as she thought of her silly uncle who couldn't keep a secret.

"Ai... Uncle was suppose to keep it as a secret.."

"Hmmp , uncle loves me too much for that!"

Ry'va suddenly came up with an idea as she dragged the younger sister into their house.

"Sister..?"

Ry'ia questioned her sister as she looked at the small silver chip on her palm.

"That is your birthday present! That's why I went down.. Just for you.."

It was her idea to convince her younger sister from going down again.

"What... Thank you so much sister.. I didn't know.."

Ry'ia held her sister with tearful eyes.

Ry'va smiled happily as she nodded in victory.

"You didn't see the best part yet!"

The elder sister threw the chip onto the empty floor and with a cloud of smoke , a silver chest was placed on the floor.

"Wow! So magical.. It reminds me of Nodus's.. Oh!"

Ry'ia noticed a little logo on the side as she crouched down to examine the chest.
