1 God Has Spoken

In a faraway house.

Wagner Delson, an elderly man wearing a silver robe with emerald linings, is currently kneeling in a room. In front of him stood a statue holding a scythe and a staff with a template underneath his statue which is said, "God of Life and Death, Immoly." While kneeling, Wagner sensed a bit of divine aura coming from the statue as he tried to reach for it using his mind power. When his mind power tried to reach the divine aura, the aura quickly disappeared.

Wagner stood up and left the room with a gloomy face. Knights wearing silver colored armor with a blue cape saluted to Wagner and proceeded to follow behind him without saying anything.

"Oracle Delson, how have you been and have the Gods spoken?"

Wagner turned around to face the person who spoke. The person who spoke wore a white robe with gold linings and a pin that shows a gold cross with two dragons, black and white, coiling around the cross. This is the emblem of the Balance Church.

"Archbishop Sten, I'm am fine. Unfortunately, the Gods have not spoken yet, but I did sense a bit of a God's message. It was, however, too faint for me to read it."

"Well, that's a shame. Well then, carry on Oracle Delson. I shall take my leave."

"Farewell, Archbishop Sten." Wagner bowed. The knights behind Wagner also bowed.

After the Archbishop left, the trio regained their straight pose.

"*sighs* I can only sense a bit of the divine aura, yet I can't even reach it." murmured Wagner.

"I will return once again!" Wagner hurried back to the room where the statue was. The knights did not say anything and guarded the door.

Wagner kneeled in front of the statue once again and closed his eyes. After a few hours of kneeling silently in front of the statue of Immoly, he suddenly heard a voice in his head.

[There is no time left, my Demigod will descend to the Mortal Realm to deal with the Demons ravishing our lands. However, don't even dare to control him, his wrath can already destroy other Demigods.]

Wagner opened his eyes, wide from shock. When he absorbed what happened, and finally absorbed what the voice said, he immediately ran out of the room. The knights, that was guarding the door, looked dazed when Wagner dashed out of the room, and immediately followed behind him quickly.

"Oracle Delson, what is happening", shouted one of the knights.

"Lord Immoly has spoken!!" replied Wagner with great enthusiasm.

*****************************************************************

In an office within the main headquarters of the Balance Church.

Lewis Actre sat on his chair holding out a scroll. He quickly scanned through the contents in the scroll. As soon as he finished scanning it, he folded the scroll and placed it down on his desk slowly and quietly.

"The Demons and the heretics are at it again..." murmured Lewis. He stood up and walked, with his hands behind his back, to the French window as he looked afar. In the far distance, he can faintly see smoke rising from the horizon. Lewis immediately knew it was from a village, a victim of the Demons rising from the Underworld of Hazes.

Lewis signed. He then sat back down on his chair as he picked up a paper made of sheepskin.

*Knock knock*

Lewis stopped what he was doing, looked up, and asked, "Who is it?"

"Pope Actre, an Oracle from Area 307 has finally been enlightened with the God of Life and Death, Immoly."

Lewis's eyes lit up as he said, "Bring him in immediately."

"Yes, Your Holiness!"

Lewis could hear the person's hurried footsteps as it the sound fades away. He leaned back in his chair, smiling. Finally, he thought, Lord Immoly has finally spoken! When he heard footsteps hurriedly walking to the doorstep of his office, he immediately sat upright and regained his dignity, which he threw away when he got the news of a God's message.

*Knock knock*

"Come in," Lewis said. The door opened, and it revealed Wagner Delson in his silver robe with emerald lining and a servant in small white robe. They both bowed and said, "We have seen His Holiness."

"Leave us alone, Number 3. And please, sit down Oracle Delson."

The servant named Number 3 left while Wagner sat down on one of the chairs in front of Lewis's desk.

"Tell me, what message did Lord Immoly send?"

"Your Holiness, Lord Immoly said that a Demigod will descend to the Mortal Realm, however, I do not understand why Lord Immoly told us not to even dare to control the Demigod."

"Forget about it, if Lord Immoly said to not even dare to control the Demigod, we won't even lay a single breath on him. Is there anything else in the message?"

"No, Your Holiness. Lord Immoly only said a few sentences before disappearing from my mind."

Lewis touched his chin, rubbing it at the same time. "Hmm, I see. This is still a hopeful message by the Gods. You may be dismissed."

"I bid farewell, Your Holiness." Wagner stood up and gave Lewis a bow before reaching for the door.

"Oh yes," said Lewis, "tell Number 0 to reward you. Then I bid farewell."

Wagner turned around and gave his thanks before leaving.

(A/N: too corny or too unbearing?)

As soon as Wagner left, Lewis stretched his arms as he once again leaned back in his chair. Lewis looked up at the ceiling before a single tear flew down from his left eye.

"God has spoken, and the end of the Demon race is closing in as we further step forward."
