A Ridiculous Question

I know that this may come off as a crazy, and ridiculous question, but, please, I want your honest opinion.

Can anybody control chaos?

Chaos is a concept. By definition, it means complete disorder and confusion.

As in, it's merely used to describe a situation that is hectic and crazy.

Now, let's say a person was capable of controlling this concept, a person with complete and utter control over the concept of chaos. Somebody who could dictate how another person would react to a certain situation, or at the very least influence their decision. If somebody somehow had this power, do you think they would use it? I'm no history expert, but I believe the Japanese had a saying, it goes something like "The misfortune of others tastes like honey."

Would you say this saying is true?

If you were to look back at every moment in your life, would you find a moment where you smiled at somebody's misfortune? Have you ever smiled at a natural disaster that destroyed the homes of many?

You could excuse your wickedness by saying it's the misfortune of somebody you hate or that it's a person who deserves to suffer. But in the end, all your really doing is just trying to justify your wicked thoughts.

"Anybody can control chaos". The idea doesn't seem so farfetched now does it?

Honestly, in my opinion, anyone can control chaos, the decisions we make in life and the paths we choose are all capable of resulting in some sort of chaotic outcome. So in the end, we all have some control over the concept, don't we?

Well, some more than others.

I used to believe that all people were capable of manipulating the chaos in their lives equally, one of the few things all humans were equal in.

But it turns out we aren't all equal in that aspect, at least I'm not.

I'm not sure if this places me above or below other people, but I know that it makes me different. It gives people a reason to fear me, but still, openly resent me. In other words, I'm simply what people blame their problems on, kinda like a scapegoat, or even a bad omen, but mostly just an excuse.

Hello, to whoever is willing to listen to my story, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ashton Woods, I'm a Junior in high school and I'm a fan of literature. I'm averagely athletic and I have a decent amount of friends that help me get through high school peacefully.

That was a complete lie.

The only true thing about that statement was my name, I'm actually a sophomore. The truth is, I find literature annoying and I'm incredibly athletic, to a point where it freaks me and the people around me out. And the biggest lie was saying I had a decent amount of friends, to be honest with you, I've never made a single friend throughout the course of my life.

Like I said earlier, people fear and openly resent me. No matter where I go, no matter who I talk to, no matter what I do. I'm seen as a bad omen.

Why? Well to be as straight to the point as I can possibly be.

I'm cursed.
