4 Episode 4 - Getting to Know Azalea in the Office

Nurse Gukun gazed at Azalea as she started to organize her papers. Azalea had long, pretty white hair and emerald eyes that was full of childish innocence that was still there at her age. Nurse Gukun sat at her desk, trying to figure out what to ask Azalea. "Where are you from?" Azalea gazed at her boss and she shows a soft smile at the nurse.

"I'm from Kyoko," she answered without stuttering. Nurse Gukun was amazed at that. Kyoko is smaller than Tokyo in population, but it's still suitable to work at. She thought.

"What made you come over here?" She asked Azalea. Azalea gave her boss a small smile. She didn't know what to tell the woman, but she decided to tell her the truth.

"My parents kicked me out when I turned seventeen so I could find me a job, but I'm just now finding a job that they could appreciate," she reveals to Nurse Gukun. Nurse Gukun gave her a sad smile.

"You only want to please your parents, isn't that right?" She asked Azalea. The girl nodded her head and Nurse Gukun kept the sad smile on her face. Pleasing people is hard work. She thought, wondering how Azalea is doing in that aspect. She didn't want to ask because she saw a sad look on Azalea's face and she heard a soft sob. She gazed at her papers, but hearing Azalea soft cries made her want to comfort her. "Come here," Nurse Gukun tells Azalea, who looked at her in shock.

"Miss Gukun," she whispered. Never had she ever been comforted by anyone, not even her parents gave her the time of the day. She was always told to solve her own problems, but with Miss Gukun, she was being asked to come to a woman that had her own issues to resolve and she was willing to pay attention to her. Why? Azalea wondered. She wondered why Miss Gukun cared for her so much. They had only known each other for a few moments. "Why?" She asked Nurse Gukun, coming into her arms. Nurse Gukun hugged Azalea and she wrapped her arms around the girl's dainty waist.

"You looked as if as you need to be comforted", Nurse Gukun tells Azalea, who stared at her with wide, green eyes. Azalea then gave Nurse Gukun a teary smile and she leaned forward into Nurse Gukun's arms.

"I'm sorry, I know I'm too old to be crying like this, but I try so hard to be the best daughter I could be", Azalea cried in Nurse Gukun's arms and the deranged nurse simply smiled at Azalea.

"Hey, hey, there is nothing with crying of stress and sadness. It's not your fault. Your parents put more stress on you because of them wanting you a job. Do you like being a nurse?" Nurse Gukun asked Azalea.

"Of course, I do. But, I want to be your secretary," Azalea tells Nurse Gukun. Nurse Gukun knew that Azalea wanted to stay with her through thick and skin and she admired that about her. She showed Azalea a small grin.

It was at this moment, Nurse Gukun knew, she enjoyed being around Azalea. She wanted to teach Azalea how to be the best person she could be. Nurse Gukun knew what she had to do. She was going to raise Azalea up to be a confidant person, even if her timid nature was going to stay.
