75 Chapter 75 – Meeting with Jia Li I

"Hero Fang Yuan please come in. Lady Jia Li has been waiting for you." As soon as Fang Yuan reached Jia Li's tent, a female Gu Master approached him and invited him in.

Fang Yuan had made an appointment with Jia Li to meet at the central hour of Chen Shi (Eight A.M.) but he was a little late as he ran into Mo Yan along the way.

'This is great. I am late for a meeting that I set the time for and requested myself.' Fang Yuan thought as he followed the female Gu Master into the tent.

As he thought that he might need more time to explain the functions of the Gu that he had refined he asked Jia Li to hold the meeting a little early.

Once inside the tent, Fang Yuan saw Jia Li sitting at her usual place behind a table and writing something.

"Hero Fang Yuan you are here." Jia Li got up and walked around the table to shake Fang Yuan's hand.

While shaking her soft hands, Fang Yuan noticed that her body excluded a refreshing fragrance and her hair appeared a little wet too. Most probably she had just finished taking a bath.

After shaking hands with Fang Yuan, she turned towards Mo Yan and said while extending her hand.

"I didn't expect to see the Princess of the Mo clan together with Hero Fang Yuan today."

"Fang Yuan and I are lovers, naturally, we would spend our time together whenever we get the chance." Mo Yan said sourly while shaking Jia Li's hand.

Jia Li raised her brow in surprise and giggled when she detected the sour tone in Mo Yan's voice.

"Hmm… What the Princess says is correct. It is only natural that lovers wish to spend as much time together as possible." Jia Li said and then towards Mo Yan's friend. "And this is?"

"She's my friend, Yu Tong." Mo Yan introduced her to Jia Li. Jia Li simply nodded her head to Yu Tong as a form of greeting.

While Jia Li was talking to Mo Yan, Fang Yuan was observing her. 'She didn't appear surprised when she saw Mo Yan with me. This means that she knew that I would be coming with Mo Yan beforehand, she's quite well informed despite being in someone else's clan.'

Jia Li then turned to Fang Yuan and said. "Shall we begin our meeting then?"

"Led the way."

Seeing Fang Yuan nodding his head Jia Li signaled to the rank two female Gu Master beside her.

The Gu Master on receiving the order mentioned for two mortal women to follow her.

Jia Li then led the group deeper into the tent following behind the female Gu Master. When the female Gu Master reached a certain spot she activated a Gu which opened a hole in the ground to display a staircase leading underground.

Once the Gu Master entered with the two mortal women, Jia Li descended leading the group down, once they were inside, the hole on the surface closed sealing them inside. After descending about 30 steps a door became visible in their vision, the female Gu Master pushed the door open and a decently-lit underground room became visible once they stepped inside.

The room had a few chairs, a table, and a bed.

"I hope you like it, Hero Fang Yuan. I made a secret place just as you requested and even went a step ahead and furnished it a little." Jia Li winked at Fang Yuan as she led the group inside.

"Thank you." Fang Yuan simply said. Yesterday when he met Jia Li he had simply asked her to prepare an undisturbed room where they could conduct their business quietly. He didn't think she would prepare such a place.

'This most probably was already built by them when they already came here. She is just saying that she prepared it for me to boost my ego. Making me think that she views me as someone special or important.' Fang Yuan thought.

While making such places with Gu worms would be easy they are nevertheless time-consuming as such no one would go out of their way to prepare such a room simply because someone requested a quiet room.

The table was placed next to the wall and the chair was on the same side facing each other as such when Fang Yuan and Jia Li sat down the table was on Fang Yuan's right side and Jia Li's left.

Once everyone was seated, Jia Li looked at Fang Yuan and said, "Now then, shall we start?"

The gu worms that he had refined were of the Human path. He didn't have any attainment in the Human path yet, as he had barely scraped the surface. As such the power of the Gu that he refined was lowered but nonetheless Fang Yuan thought that these Gu worms will be well received after all these Gu worked much better than the Gu currently in the market.

He had prepared three types of gu. Of these three, two were the main focus and one was him simply horsing around as he thought the person he would enter into a business with would be Jia Jin Sheng.

Even though it turned out to be Jia Li, in the end, Fang Yuan had to sell it, as if he did not then he would be incurring a loss which he couldn't afford.

Fang Yuan nodded and proceeded to take out the Gu that he prepared. He placed the three gu worms he had prepared on the table to his right side.

The first one was cylindrical measuring three cun and light green in color. As soon as he placed it on the table a refreshing fragrance spread in the room.

The second one was white-colored and in the shape of a human. It looked like a white-colored voodoo doll.

The third one was a pink-colored round pill.
