8 Slayers Redemption

The two walked onto the training grounds and as they walked in they looked to their side and saw Krager who walked in besides them.

He walked to the middle of the yard and the roll call appeared before his head once more.

" 5 minutes to get here or you die "

The time passed and krager looked at the roll call with a confused face

He looked around and saw 3 players who were at the back of the line and yelled

" you three come here "

The three ran over quickly and stood infront of him. One of the three quickly tried to speak but krager stopped him.

" What are you doing here "

The player who was about to speak took a deep breath before saying in a frantic voice

" We missed yesterday's training so we thought we could make it up. "

" You already failed by missing. "

3 grey lights appeared and the players dissapeared.

Krager turned to the 133 players remaining and shouted.

" Today will be combat training grab a partner"

Amon and Lucifer quickly joined up together and stood side by side while waiting for the others to Match up.

One of the players couldn't find a partner so he walked up to Krager with reluctance and asked.

" Sir Krager I dont have a partner what do i do?

Krager Looked at him in an annoyed manner and turned to the right facing a nice empty space.

A black ball of flame formed in Kragers hand and as it grew to about the size of a soccer ball it jumped off his hand and landed in the empty space.

The ball began to expand and it began to take shape as, as it began to finish you could hear blood curdling screams come from it and them it stood up straight and looked at Krager and Kneeled.

Krager turned to the player and spoke

" Here is your training partner "

His grin widened and he laughed as he walked back to the center of the yard.

" Today you will practice parrying your partners attacks. if you are the attacker you must aim to kill only the best will continue. "

The training began and the only sounds you could here were.

People were stabbed in the shoulder or in the chest of they failed a parry and would get nervous as their health bar droped.

Lucifer was the first to attack and he swung his sword many different ways testing to catch amon off guard but amon just kept blocking all of his attacks like theh were nothing with made Lucifer a tad bit annoyed.

" You're better than you look " shouted Lucifer as he regained his breath.

" Thanks, I learned from my grandpa."

Lucifer continued to attack until a small ding sounded for amon and he looked at Licifer and shouted as he attacked.

" My turn now."

Lucifer was caught off guard as he didn't know how many amon still needed to block so he devoted all if his concentration on attack and forgot all about defense.

The blade pierced Lucifers chest and then Amon retreated a couple steps and laughed.

" you should pay more attention to what's happening around you."

Lucifer raised his guard and pulled out both of his swords and griped them tightly as he shouted in a domineering voice.

" Come at me then "

Amon once again launched an attack but it was blocked by Lucifer with ease.

amon jumped back and looked for any openings and found a small opening and stabbed forward but Lucifer raised his beginners sword and blocked it once again.

The training soon Ended and Lucifer and amon were still about full health while the remaining 104 players either had run out of stamina and were laying down or were heavily injured and trying to regen their health.

Krager shouted to the group.

" 29 of you have failed today and I'm very disappointed." Krager had an angry look on his face.

" If this is the best you can do you won't be a match for the dwarves or any other race."

" I'm quite angry so we're going to do tommorows training in 20 minutes. get ready"

The player all sighed in their hearts as they were already given pretty hard training but Lucifer and amon became excited and whispered to each other.

- I guess we can get done with this quest quicker

Amon replied

- Yeah we're going to be able to hunt sooner

Krager walked up to the center of the yard 20 minutes later and shouted at the resting players.

" Get ready becuase it's time to work "

" This time you're going to have a death match with another player only the winner passes. "

The players exclaimed in shock at the unreasonable quest.

Lucifer equipped some beginner clothes and walked up to a player who was bragging about how he could beat anyone and asked.

" can I fight with you."

Lucifer looked at the players name ( Jake )

and Jake looked at Lucifer with disdain.

" sure but don't get mad when I beat you."

Arrogance, Extreme arrogance.

Lucifer smiled and said

" Shall we begin "

Jake smiled and accepted the request.

The match began and before Jake moved Lucifer equipped his battle brothers armor and his enhanced sword and smiled at Jake.

Jake had an ugly look on his face as he just watched what he thought was an easy newbie was actually a high level pro.

Jake didn't have time to whine as Lucifer charged forward and pierced his heart thrusting the sword all the way through and out the other side.

Lucifer cheered internally at the new skill.

He was so excited he didn't even notice the all the players were looking at him with dumfound expressions.

- did he just get one shot?

- I dont know I didn't see it clearly it all happened too fast.

- I saw it he killed him in one shot.

- That's impossible, no matter how good he is it's only the 1st day of release.

- Isint that the guy that Krager gave special treatment ?

- yeah it is.

- Well no wonder he got special treatment hes OP.

Many people all talked about the duel they just witnessed and then they turned to amon who was about to duel and they already knew the outcome becuase they had seen the two together so they assumed he was just as strong.

The duel started and amon tried to attack but the other guy was ready and blocked his first attack. Amon Snickered at his blocked attack and activated one of his skills and launched an attack again. The blade stabbed forward and the player blocked it but as the blades made contact amons sword teleported a couple inches to the side and pierced the players neck.

The player shrieked as he watched three fourths of his health vanish right before him.

He launched a desperate counter attack as he had already accepted his fate but didn't want to give him the win.

The sword slashed at amons side and as the player looked at amon he saw a Heart wrenching Smile on his face.

Amon turned to Lucifer and loudly called out.

" I can do it too "

Amon Raised his sword to his right and swung towards the players neck. He tried to dodge but amon held his sword in place and amons Sword cleanly sliced The players head off as he turned into grey light and dissapeared.

Amon Walked up to Lucifer and smiled

" How did I do "

Lucifer Said one word.

" Copy cat "

Amon punched him in the arm and said

" Well we're done, what now. "

" Lets go to the Depths of the Goblin Forrest, I over heard some players talking about a boss Goblin over there. "

Before amon could reply he got a notification

Time for dinner get off your game!!!

Amon Sighed and spoke to Lucifer.

" Sorry I got to get off my mom is calling me for dinner. See you later "

He smile as he Vanished leaving Lucifer with many questions.

' Didn't he say he was nineteen when we were hunting Goblins?'

' Well anyway I guess I'll go by my self.

Lucifer Teleported away

[ City gates]

Lucifer walked out of the city towards the Goblin Forrest and soon arrived. He looked around and saw some reporters and players talking. He walked up to the players and asked in a curios manner.

" What you guys up to "

One of the cameramen came over and explained to him.

" A couple hours ago we got reports of blood curdling screams coming from deep within the Forrest and maniacal laughter after the screams finished so we came here to investigate.

Lucifer thought back to when he and Amon were Brutally Butchering the Goblins and he remembers how they screamed in pure Agony before they died which would make Lucifer and Amon Chuckle quite loudly.

Lucifer scratched his back as he replied to the reporter.

" Damm that sounds scary I wonder who caused such screams."

Lucifer tried his absolute best to hide his laughter and before he exploded he hurriedly ran into the Forrest without looking back.

" Wait it's not safe "

shouted the reporter but Lucfef was already out of sight.

Lucifer soon Arrived at the Depths of the Forrest after about 20 minutes of constant slaughter. He checked his stats.
