"Sophia! Don't call that bitch my wife. She ran away, just before our marriage. When I found out about her escape, she was already on a flight to London. Apparently, she was trying to hire one of the best private detectives, Mr. Holmes to find her boyfriend but she was never seen after she walked out of Heathrow airport" Louise said.
Kael released a sigh of relief upon hearing that she wasn't married to him, he could now easily take his revenge.
How could he possibly have forgotten about that last text message he received? How can a 21st-century girl, determined enough to elope, be forced into marrying someone she didn't like?
Yes, she would try to show her family that she was willing to marry Louise while silently trying to find him.
"We were not able to find her for almost three months, then Mr. Lowell found out that she was not alive from his contacts. From then on he started to hold a grudge against me and my family thinking that I was somehow responsible for her death…."
Kael was not able to process what he said after that. At that moment, he only wanted to puke blood in anger.
He was also aware of Louise's character and it would be very likely that he would try to take revenge upon her after she publicly humiliated him by running away.
"I WILL KILL YOU!" he roared as his eyes slowly turned crimson red, frightening everyone in the room, well only the pair who were conscious.

Before he could finish Louise off, the guards managed to break the door open.
They rushed into the room in a trained manner with their guns ready to shoot anything that may harm Louise but they were stunned in their tracks upon seeing a red humanoid monster with red eyes holding their young master from his neck.
Old butler Walter was the first to regain his senses as he started shooting Kael without any further delay while shouting "Shoot him down."
*Bam… Bam… Bam…*

*Bam bam bam bam bam *

Upon being woken up by old butler Walter's actions, other guards started to show their professionalism as well by shooting Kael accurately while making sure none of the bullets went near Louise.
"Ahhhh…"
Kael was unable to react to the shooting in time and instinctively tried to shield his face with his arms.
Bullets rained down on him and unlike his previous confrontation with armed guards, these guards were elites whose bullets would find his body like a moth to the flame.
Although the bullets didn't pierce his skin, the large number of them enabled the brute force of these bullets to still injure him enough that he started puking blood.
Just as he tried to move towards the guards while trying to cover his body behind Louise's who was too afraid to say anything, a one-eyed muscular guard attacked him with an electric baton from his blind spot.
Kael, who only managed to survive till now due to his demonic body, without any kind of combat training tried to block the baton with his arm but the guard changed the trajectory of the baton from his chest to his head as if he was aiming for it from the beginning.
*Wak*
The baton slammed on the right side of his head which caused him to stagger and lose his grip over Louise's neck.

Kael's initial plan was to kill Louise and then escape after getting Sophia's whereabouts if she did not have any feelings for Louise, he simply didn't think of the possibility that she could have moved on in her life as he didn't have the strength to bear with it but the news of Sophia's death broke the final sanctum for Kael's humanity.
With all the torture and changes to his soul, only his strong will to meet his love and family kept him sane and in touch with his humanity but now he found out that she was dead, he completely let go of all hesitation and accepted his new identity, his new race.
A murderous aura started to leak out of him, which scared the guards who
"Ha-ha! Ha-ha…! Now I have changed my mind. I will kill everyone who tries to protect Louise from me, then kill his family in front of him" he laughed hysterically as he lunged at the one-eyed muscular guard.
The one-eyed guard's complexion turned extremely pale, his pupil shrunk instantly. His body tightened and became tense in a split second as he tried to retreat while shouting "Nooo! Brother Walter, help m…"
*Bang*
Kael landed a kick on the one-eyed guard's chest, sending his body flying outside the broken door.

The old butler Walter's complexion turned into that of madness and fury as he swiftly snatched a three bladed black army knife from his waist, then threw it toward Kael.
At the same time, other guards rushed forward while shooting non-stop.
Before Kael could even look at the dead guard and the system's notification, the black knife suddenly pierced his chest but only its uppermost tip managed to pierce through his skin.
Under the stupefied gazes of his enemies, he pulled the knife, only to reveal a small cut that healed instantly.
"OH MY GOD! Even a carbon fiber knife only left a small cut on this monster" a guard shouted in disbelief.
"Heheheheh… All of you overrate yourself and attempt to do something impossible; much less you're overestimating your own strength" Kael's strength and speed far surpassed an ordinary person's limit. Due to his demonic body, he needed no specific moves or styles. He could casually punch and kill them easily.
He used the black knife in his hand, then slashed and tore open the nearest guard's wrist that held the gun.
"Ahhh…."
Feeling such piercing and acute pain, the guard screamed in agony but his scream was cut short as Kael smashed his skull into gory red and pink mush with some white bone pieces mixed in.
"Don't you fucking dare to move!!!" more than 10 meters away, the skinny guard pointed a grenade at Kael with shaking hands as he shouted with a stern voice.
Kael sneered as he jumped forward without the slightest hesitation. He then rushed through the enemy filled room bearing with the bullets.
Before the guard could remove the safety pin from the grenade, he reached him and managed to snatch the grenade before kicking him in the shoulder.
*Ding*

"Take cover."
Seeing the grenade in Kael's hand, the old butler Walter grabbed Louise and retreated to take cover in case the monster wanted to use the grenade against them.
This caused the rest of the guards to panic as they broke their formation to find cover.
For the first time since the door was broken, which was a couple of minutes ago which seemed like an eternity to Kael, there was no gun pointed at him, enabling him to reap lives like a grim reaper, while system notifications kept coming, though he was a clumsy grim reaper at best.
Soon there was only the old butler Walter and his young master in the room, while the rest were 'harvested' by the red reaper much to their dismay.
Louise looked at his loyal guards dead on the floor as sorrow and fear made his face violently twist. Then, he yelled out of hate and bitterness, "Why are you after me? I haven't offended you in any way, so why?"
"You haven't offended me in any way? Oh, Louise, it seems like I was too hard on you. You don't even remember me. Let me jog your memories a bit and make you remember me and my promise to you" Kael said coldly as he walked towards the broken door slowly and silently.
