19 Netherworld

A hole of 3 meters in diameter appeared on the surface of the blob and Kael was sucked into it.

Just as he passed through the hole, a bird's eye view of a barren world devoid of any plant life, littered with bones and withered trees greeted him.

*Ding*

[Welcome to the planner world 'Netherworld', the Divine World of High Goddess of Death, Nebthet]

Upon hearing this, Kael asked in confusion, "What is a Divine World and isn't netherworld another name for hell?"

[A Divine World, is a planner world created by a Divine Being to gain true divinity and become a true god]

[Netherworld was created by the High Goddess Nebthet, after she ascended from hell. After the creation of this planner world, her priests started preaching to their followers that they would be allowed to enter the Netherworld in the afterlife if they were her devote believers.

In her honor, the name of the headquarters of her church was changed to Netherworld but after millions of years, normal people of Material World and other worlds forgot about the real Netherworld, only remembering the Netherworld in hell. After all, High Goddess Nebthet is the goddess of death, so only undead and necromancers worship her]

"Can you …."

Before Kael could even ask anything else, he was interrupted by the system.

[Divine Apostle does not have the authority to access more information]

"Can you at least explain to me what a planner world is?" Kael asked while smiling wryly.

[A planner world is a world created outside the Material World, which means that they are created in the Void. Usually, they are created by utilizing materials from Material World to shorten the construction cost as well as time.]

[Planner Worlds can also exist inside the body of the expert's ancient races, who lives in the void. Divine Apostle belongs to one of these ancient races.]

"I am a hum… Chaos Demon. This means I can have a world like this inside…."

Kael didn't even try to imagine how big his body had to be to accommodate even the smallest small world inside it.

While Kael was busy daydreaming, the mysterious force that was moving him started to slow down as another force started to pull him.

*******

Kael was woken from his daydreaming by some screeching sounds, after an unknown period of time

As he looked down, Kael saw a bunch of skeletons fighting each other while running in the same direction as him.

There were different types of skeletons, some of them looked like a human skeleton while others were of different animals and monsters, and some were humongous while others were small.

There was one similarity that Kael could observe and that was the fact that there was a creepy green flame burning in their skulls.

'They are just like the skeletons depicted in games I used to play' Kael thought to himself.

As he flew ahead, he saw different types of creatures like zombies, ghouls, semi-transparent ghosts and many other well known undead, as well as creatures that were completely different from ones he had seen in games and movies.

A large number of them were fighting each other while others were either chewing bones or being chewed by others.

There were also various types of plants as well, but Kael was sure that they were totally different from the plants he knew due to the fact that he saw a black withered tree gobbling up an entire skeleton in one bite when it came near the tree.

There were also various small plants and grass but they were either white, black or grey, that grew upon rotting corpses of unknown creatures.

"This is one hell of a scary place, even the undead are not safe here"

[These are creatures of death race, and belong to a different race altogether. They are born from the remains of living beings that are contaminated by a large amount of death qi or Mana and undead that people of your world imagined are inspired by this race ….]

Kael listened to the system as he flew across various terrains, all formed from grey earth or black water.

Soon an enormous black palace constructed on the black and white ground appeared in front of him, although the word 'enormous' was used to describe this palace, Kael thought that this palace was too big to even use enormous to describe it.

The size of the palace could be easily guessed by seeing the main gate due to the fact that it was large enough to force Mt. Everest to die from 'short man syndrome'.

So it was quite acceptable for Kael, a two meter tall Chaos demon to be dumbfounded by the sheer size of it.

As he came closer to the palace he was able to tell that the black and white surroundings of the palace were skeletons wearing black armor, some of them were nest to half rotted horses mixed with a large number of semitransparent people.

A large number of them were silently kneeling towards the palace, while others were slowly chanting something in a strange rhythm.

"They are the devote worshipers of the Goddess" said a hoarse voice that came from the palace.

When Kael looked ahead, he saw a massive bone dragon flying towards him from the palace.

"Welcome to the Netherworld, Divine Apostle. Please allow me to escort you to the goddess" The bone dragons said as his pure white bone shone from the pair of moons as big as the sun.

Yup! You read it right.

Due to the fact that death race prefers cold moonlight than sunlight, the High Goddess of Death, Nebthet created this planner world without sun only a couple of massive moons.

After admiring the lustrous bones of the bone dragon for some time, Kael slowly landed on Bone dragons spin (back).

The dragon flew towards the palace ignoring all the kneeling skeletons and ghosts.

On his way, Kael saw similar bone dragons acting as guards of the palace though their bones were duller than the bones of his ride.

When he passed the main gate, he felt like an ant entering a god's palace.

The bone dragon dropped Kael in front of a door that had been carved with many mysterious symbols.

"Please go inside" the dragon said humbly
