Shen Xia had hoped for a peaceful resolution after her last run in with Qin Wei. But it seemed things were not always destined to be. While her morning was fine, things changed when she arrived at the cafeteria with her usual group for lunch. She felt many stares in her direction. "Is it me, or am I being stared at again for some reason?"

"I also think something is off…" Quan Xinya replied as she looked around. When her eyes landed on people, they quickly looked away. But with Shen Xia's hearing amplified by her fox traits, she could easily hear what they were saying.

"To think that Shen Xia would steal someone else's fiance." 

"I heard she used her body to seduce him."

"She must be getting full of herself after all her fame recently."

"Does she think that just because she is pretty, she can do as she pleases?"
